Needs a VPN Error Message
Forbright needs to add a VPN error message to their site when VPNs are detected--like PNC, Citi, and all other sites do when they will not function with VPN usage. I have an always-on VPN that I forget about. It was so frustrating to read all the paperwork, give out all of my personal info, and sign all the documents, just to be instantaneously denied because I forgot to turn my VPN off (note: VPN usage was not in the electronic requirements paperwork I did read! It only said I needed Firefox, Edge or Chrome to operate.). This is certainly my fault, but it shows that Forbright is not thinking about the full customer experience, and I worry where else this will show up at this bank if I were to proceed with resubmitting my application. I already struggle to trust an online-only bank with a small name...let alone with an experience like this. Makes me nervous when I think about the large sum of money I was planning to deposit from a different HYSA. Hopefully their web development team can fix this issue soon and add a simple error message to improve their customer experience, usability, and trust.

Hi Jane, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for the confusion surrounding your application. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to optimize the customer experience, so we'll will pass this suggestion along to our team. We encourage you to reapply without the VPN and are happy to assist if you have any further questions. Thank you!
