The food was amazing. I celebrated my bachelorette with my girls this weekend and for our last night we decided to have a chef. Chef Simone served us a great meal. I recommend her for anyone needing a chef in the Myrtle beach area.

I haven’t worked with a chef before & Chef Joe made the whole process easy from beginning to end. He curated an amazing southern inspired menu for my husband’s 60th birthday. One guest was pescatarian. Another guest followed a low FODMAP diet & Chef Joe accommodated everyone’s needs. The food was incredible! My family is still talking about the dinner & we can’t agree on a favorite bite because everything was delicious. As the host, I was able to enjoy the party & be present knowing the food was in great hands. I cannot recommend Chef Joe more for your next function!

We had such a wonderful experience with Chef Simmy from Food Fire + Knives! From the moment everything was set up, it felt like a truly special dining experience. The table setting was absolutely beautiful and added the perfect touch to our evening. And the food was fantastic! We started with crab cakes and Manchego chicken, followed by a fresh, crisp arugula salad with burrata and Chef Simmy’s homemade dressing. Our entrée was Steak Diane with creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was incredibly tender, perfectly prepared, and delicious. We finished the evening with a beautiful berry tart for dessert. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and most importantly—delicious. Chef Simmy created a restaurant-quality experience right in our home and allowed us to simply relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate together. I would absolutely recommend Chef Simmy and Food Fire + Knives for a special occasion or anytime you want an elevated private dining experience. Chef Patrick Carruthers and his sous chef Megan were fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh and well prepared. The service was impeccable- they arrived at my home and quite literally all I needed to do was open the door for them. Everything from setting the table through loading the dishwasher was taken care of. I will happily hire them again and highly recommend them!

Julia was AMAZING!!! 🤩 What an experience. I booked this as a gift for a dear friend, and I wanted it to be perfect — and Julia absolutely delivered. The food, the presentation, the vibe… everything was spot‑on. This was my first time hiring a private chef, and wow, Julia set the bar HIGH. Everyone was blown away, and I felt so proud that I picked such an incredible chef. If it had gone badly, I’d probably never do this again, but Julia made it so fantastic that I’m already excited to book her again. She made the night unforgettable.

Chef Patrick was such a joy to work with! He came to the house we were staying at fully prepared and made some of the best food myself and our group have had. He and his sous chef were personable and attentive while still letting us enjoy our time together. The food was insane, I will dream of the bone marrow butter.
