AWFUL
Chef completely ruined my wedding dinner. Changed the menu from what was agreed, left out ingredients, and left seeds in food. FFK would not refund, had to submit charge back with my cc. I will never use FFK again and advise everyone to avoid. In response-- FFK expected me to complain about the service in front of my wedding guests. Therefore my complaints weren't valid to them? As evidenced here, they are awful to work with and I very much recommend against. They have tried to mark my review as defamatory. Truth is not defamatory. By the way, there is no such thing as 'seedless lemons'. Do some research. No evidence was ever given than the chef somehow bough seedless lemons. They were NOT seedless. There were many in the dishes, but had mostly been thrown out. They required photo proof which was provided from the leftovers. Because again, it would have been extremely embarrassing in front of our guests. And no, I did not accept their gift card as reimbursement for the issues with our reservation. This was for my wedding, which I was not doing another of obviously and had no intention of ever using their services again. Gift credit was useless and not reimbursement for failure to delivered what was ordered.

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We’re truly sorry your experience did not meet your expectations - that’s never our intention. We take all feedback seriously and have carefully reviewed what happened with your dinner for 9 guests. For clarity: the four Creamy Pesto Pappardelle entrees were promptly refunded when you expressed dissatisfaction with the dish and its substitutions. The sauce was modified to accommodate an allergy to basil (a core ingredient in pesto), and although seedless lemons were used, it appears a seed was found in leftovers. For the Cavatelli Carbonara, the pancetta was intentionally omitted to honor a vegetarian request - pancetta is not a vegetarian ingredient and Italian parsley was used instead of basil based on your direction. We addressed this with you directly when the concern was raised. Regarding the Panzanella Salad, this is a traditional Italian bread salad made with bread, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and basil which was also modified to parsley due to the basil restriction. In addition to the refunds issued for the four entrees, we offered $500 in gift cards and the chef personally offered to cook another meal at no charge to make up for the stress of your day. We apologized in writing as well. We value every client and genuinely want our guests to have a great experience and we’re always open to discussing any concerns further offline if needed.
