We’ve been booking private chefs through Food, Fire, and Knives for about five years now, and every experience has been fantastic. Different chefs, same consistently high quality. They make the entire process easy – from collaborating on menus that fit our preferences to showing up fully prepared and professional. The multi-course meals have always been delicious, beautifully done, and perfect for special family celebrations. Having them cook in our vacation rental homes makes the experience feel both relaxed and special. What we enjoy most is the personal touch. The chefs are happy to share stories, answer questions, and engage with us while still running a smooth, polished operation from start to finish. Food, Fire, and Knives has been a reliable go-to for memorable meals, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I was struggling with a Christmas gift for someone who doesn’t like stuff and instead bought an experience with FFK. I also wanted to impress said someone and make it a night they would remember and I got exactly what I wanted. She loved it. I got pictures from her on the dishes themselves, (lobster, scallops, and lava cake…). If I didn’t live all the way across the country, I would have crashed the party. I can’t recommend this business enough.

Chef completely ruined my wedding dinner. Changed the menu from what was agreed, left out ingredients, and left seeds in food. FFK would not refund, had to submit charge back with my cc. I will never use FFK again and advise everyone to avoid. In response-- FFK expected me to complain about the service in front of my wedding guests. Therefore my complaints weren't valid to them? As evidenced here, they are awful to work with and I very much recommend against. They have tried to mark my review as defamatory. Truth is not defamatory. By the way, there is no such thing as 'seedless lemons'. Do some research. No evidence was ever given than the chef somehow bough seedless lemons. They were NOT seedless. There were many in the dishes, but had mostly been thrown out. They required photo proof which was provided from the leftovers. Because again, it would have been extremely embarrassing in front of our guests. And no, I did not accept their gift card as reimbursement for the issues with our reservation. This was for my wedding, which I was not doing another of obviously and had no intention of ever using their services again. Gift credit was useless and not reimbursement for failure to delivered what was ordered.

I’ve been able to truly take control of my passion and my career through this company. I’ve been with FFK for six years now, and it has been an incredible opportunity and experience. Mike (the owner) is truly a chef for chefs, and Kim is amazing at connecting the right clients with the right chef. Through FFK, I’ve grown tremendously—not just as a chef, but as a person and a business owner. I know this is only the beginning, and what FFK is doing is revolutionizing life for private chefs. Every client I work with loves the process and raves about their experience. I truly believe the 5-star reviews speak for themselves.

I have enjoyed meeting and working with every client and there freinds , Family or co workers to create my personal menus for . With that the freedom to express has a chef is desired by many and the ability to do so here is awesome !
