Predatory Warranty Practices – Avoid FluidFreeRide!
I am writing this to warn any prospective customers about FluidFreeRide’s predatory business practices and nonexistent customer support. I purchased a scooter for over $800, and it malfunctioned (Error 10/speedometer flashing) well within the warranty period. I first reported this issue in July 2025. It is now March 2026. For nine months, I have been given the runaround. After months of "we are understaffed" and "transitioning to new management" excuses, they finally admitted the issue is a faulty dashboard and wiring—but they are refusing to honor the warranty. Their excuse? Because the company was acquired by new ownership in April 2025, they claim they "bought the brand name" but not the "obligation" to honor warranties for previous customers. They are literally asking me to pay out of pocket to fix a defect that occurred while the product was guaranteed. It is clear they value their "new brand image" more than the customers who built it. Do not give this company your money unless you are comfortable with your warranty becoming worthless the moment they decide to restructure. I have been unable to use my $800 investment for over 250 days. I'm still in shock
