Floor and Decor sells flooring and then discontinues carrying it. That helps their profitability when a prior customer needs some replacement flooring and now has to replace entire rooms. On the other hand, it money gouges their customers. For anymore reading this review I HIGHLY recommend avoiding doing business with this firm

I spent more than a month working with them. They told me I didn’t need a city permit to remodel the bath. I checked with my city and you of course need a permit. Then Donna, the manager and Erica (she coordinates actual installation) stopped responding to me. All that time, they do t have a clue nor do they follow regulations and laws. Go elsewhere. They’re awful.

Floor Decor Gretna has absolutely horrible customer service, attentive personnel, and a complete lack of knowledge for more complex transactions. If you go into that store location for a simple transaction, like buying a bag of grout, or spacers, or some boxes of tile you are fine. Other transactions relating to my 10k countertop purchase is completely different. The staff is not educated on dealing with the 3rd party vendors the company uses. My wife and I drove to the Covington LA store and had a great customer service experience with a well trained and knowledgeable staff. The Gretna location does not respect it's customer base and it starts at the top with management, regional managers, and a horrid lack of training. I only deal with this location for pickup for my sub contractors, otherwise I would not spend a nickel in Gretna. My preference is to spend where I live, I'm doing my part attempting to spend at the Gretna location, however, Floor and Decor Corporate is failing consumers in certain geographic locations. I just need to see my project through to completion, and AVOID spending my $ where customers are not valued. I would appreciate having this conversation live with the Gretna store manager, the regional manager over tjis location, or anyone from corporate who is interested in providing quality service to their customers.

Floor & Decor (Charleston, SC) would be given a zero rating if possible, as it was not a positive experience for us. We drove over 3 hours to this location to specifically pick up tile that was ordered online. The tile that was pulled was not what we ordered, even though we were instructed online to wait for the tile to be processed to ensure it was available. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, EFFORT & MONEY! Although the Tile Manager (Tom) did provided a hasty refund, his indifference to the situation and non-apology only supports our horrid experience with this location. The Charlotte and Clearwater Stores, when visited, showed the utmost in customer care and concern. The only saving grace at the Charleston SC location was the service provided by Cindy (customer service pick up) and Fatima (front store cashier), otherwise, training or dismissal would be the best resort for the uncaring, unapologetic Tile Manager Tom! This leaves a very bad impression of Floor & Decor - Charleston, SC!

I have been shopping for tile for quite some time, I went in to the store on March 15, 2025, and I was given some samples to take home, we bought the samples, we returned the tile less than 24hrs and they refused to refund us 23.00 wanted to give us store credit, because there was no receipt, My husband showed the transaction on the bank, but we were still refused a refund, I do not want to accept store credit because I will not be shopping there anymore. Furthermore, I was in there a week ago and no associate prompted me for help until the store was getting ready to close. Even though it was a 23.00 transaction I will not be taking my business to the store on Constitution Drive in Virginia Beach.

I purchased DuraLux Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring from Floor & Decor, trusting their "warranty" and claims of durability. Within just a few months, the flooring started cracking, chipping, and delaminating, even though I followed all manufacturer installation guidelines. The locking system completely failed, making the floor structurally unsound. When I filed a warranty claim, Floor & Decor hired a biased inspector who: - Refused to test the actual flooring product - Only took one subfloor flatness measurement per room (on top of failing planks) - Ignored major structural failures like the broken locking system - Failed to follow ASTM industry testing standards Despite clear warranty contradictions, including a clause that explicitly states "moisture will not affect the flooring’s integrity", Floor & Decor denied my claim, blaming “moisture” and “installation” without providing real proof. They refuse to define what qualifies as a manufacturing defect, making it impossible for consumers to receive warranty coverage. After repeatedly disputing their bogus denial, Floor & Decor simply shut down communication and refused to engage further. I even filed a BBB complaint, and they completely ignored it. The BBB just confirmed that Floor & Decor never responded, which is exactly what they do to hundreds of other customers with valid claims. Their strategy is simple: deny, delay, ignore, and exhaust the consumer until they give up. They refuse to honor their own warranty and rely on deceptive business practices to avoid issuing refunds. If you’ve been scammed by Floor & Decor, file complaints with: - Better Business Bureau (BBB) (They already have hundreds of ignored complaints) - FTC (Federal Trade Commission) - Your State Attorney General’s Office - Consumer Protection Websites (PissedConsumer, RipoffReport, Trustpilot, etc.) DO NOT BUY FROM FLOOR & DECOR. They do not stand behind their products and will fight you every step of the way to avoid honoring their warranty. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

On Monday, January 27, 2025, this manager, Ashley with ann associate, entered my private residence without my knowledge or consent while a contractor was working. She proceeded to walk through my home, claiming she was looking for tile that had been delivered. No one gave her permission or the right to enter my home and invade my privacy by WALKING THROUGH MY ENTIRE HOME ROOM BY ROOM!!! This unauthorized entry is a serious violation of my privacy and property rights. At no point did I give permission for any Floor & Decor representative to enter my home without my knowledge nor was I made aware that such an action would take place without my consent!!!! Her conduct has caused me significant distress, and I find it completely unacceptable for an employee of your company to behave in this manner.

STORE MANAGER WALKED THROUGH MY HOME WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We placed an order from this store that would need to take care of a 4700 sq foot home. Needless to say, WE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!!!! We ordered tiles that were the same patter but a few were going to be polished to put on the bathroom walls. Our contractor could not find the polished tiles anywhere. We looked though every single box that was delivered and we could not find the polished tiles. We contacted the store manager and let her know that thankfully, our contractor saved all the boxes and we checked all of them and nothing. She told us that she would stop by the house and check but would call us first. She also said that it would have to be today, 1/28/25, but she took it upon her to show up there yesterday WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW. She took one of her employees and knocked on the door and walked in. Our contractor was shocked! we were shocked! She walked though OUR ENTIRE HOME ROOM TO ROOM without our consent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this how this company operates!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? I am livid and will be contacting my lawyer! Just so you are aware, Floor and Decor, I have six cameras all over my home! YOU HAVE BEEN CAUGHT Ms. Ashley Eggleston from the Whitehall store!!!!!!!
