We had 2 terrible experiences with this company. Their inventory was way off, and we drove 100 miles to pick up tile when the North Charleston store had it all along. I didn’t just take the website/internet info…I actually talked with employees. Then we tried to return unused tile, and they wouldn’t take back shower floor tile because they said we purchased boxes instead of pieces. Our receipt showed 28 pieces, not 2 boxes. The manager wouldn’t even look at us. We made the mistake of leaving the tile because my husband didn’t want to take it back home.

Horrible customer experience. I will not be shopping with floor and decor for my next renovation. I’m just glad it’s behind me because working with them was always inconvenient, always a hassle. Do your best to go to a mom and pop tile or flooring shop but, if that’s not an option, go to Home Depot. They’re not great, but they’re better than this nightmare of a company. Rarely is their website up to date so often times you will order an item that is no longer available, so make sure to use your credit card so you can dispute the charge. Also their pickup process is from hell. And don’t bother calling any of their locations. I’ve dealt with 4 and only 1 ever answered.

recently I went to the store locate in Garden City few times, to purchase for my customer. I have a very weird feeling to the store staffs. once I asked floor staff's assistance to upload my heavy mortar to the car. He said we will close in one hour, so they are busy in cashier register, no hands available. second time I went there and product not there, I asked the staff, he said you need to wait 20-30 minutes when the loading guy available. after 30 minutes, I was not get noticed, and I asked the same staff in mortar and grout area. He said they are on side already. When I go there they are sealed , I have to look for help to open the package. all the staff like working laze with no passion. what's wrong with the store ?

Buyer Beware ! This company lies and misleads the public. The so called " design team " is a joke ! They will not even make an effort to be of any help with your tile needs, rather they immediately pass you off to their Contractor, who in turn passes you off again to a Sub Contractor. Then, once that interaction has taken place, these so called " Designers " try to step backin and take over. Underhanded and Shady ! Just know that going into a Floor & Decor store..... it is NOT how they represent !

Today my wife, who is 8 months pregnant, went to Floor & Decor of Roper Mountain Rd - Greenville/SC to buy two boxes of ceramics that were missing for our project. She asked the cashier to call someone to help her put the items in the cart, but the cashier didn't do it. My wife had to fend for herself. After making the payment my wife asked the same cashier for someone to help her put the two heavy boxes in the car, but she ignored my wife and pretended not to hear her. We are Latinos and we have always been treated poorly by this cashier at the floor & decor store on Roper Mountain Rd - Greenville/SC. After this event we intend not to return to this store again.

THE COLONY TEXAS FLOOR & DECOR Sad to say that Floor and Decor will not help with loading materials on to the basket or cart. I asked at the register if I could get some help loading 2 each 4x4 tiles and was told they cannot help with loading on to the cart or in my truck. So I asked about getting the guys to get it ready and I would pickup at the loading dock. She said sure, and proceeded to make the order only to be told I could not pickup until the next day. Very disappointed with the customer service, especially when I have spent thousands of dollars at Floor and Decor! I ended up loading the 2 - 4x4 tiles on to the cart myself and taking out to my truck and loading on my truck alone and in the rain! ALL WHILE THE EMPLOYEES (MEN) WERE JUST WALKING AROUND DOING NOTHING!!! NOT GOOD FOR CUSTOMERS!!! Ray S.

Steer clear of this place and use tile dealer local to your area! I placed an order on 2/10/24 for 2 pieces of Schluter that were supposed to be in stock in their warehouse. It is now 2/29/24 and the order shows that they are still prepping the order. Really for 3 weeks? I called customer service and was told that "special orders" take 28 days. Nothing like that was stated on the website when I placed the order and I received absolutely no communication with an estimated date. When I checked with the local store they told me the order was on the way. Obviously they don't have clue about what is going on. I am doing 2.5 bathrooms and a kitchen. I ordered tile for one bathroom and have been trying to order tile for the second bathroom and it has been a nightmare because they cannot figure out how to get enough tile for a 5x7 bathroom. They expect you to go from store to store to pick up tile until you have enough. They can't ship from a warehouse. And each store manager selects the tile the store will carry so it is catch as catch can. If you are shopping at one store and their is enough tile in a store in another state....well you figure it out because they can't. Logistics is not their forte. The executive management of Floor and Decor have no idea what people want or how they shop so their business model is basically crap and your are left to figure it out for yourself.
