The fan was supposed to be covered by the policy but after the repair person finished I was handed a bill for 300.00. When I called the agent at Fixd told me the damage to the fan ( a bird got stuck in it and burned it out) was an act of god so they weren’t covering it. I asked for a supervisor. They said a supervisor would call me back a week later No one has called me back!! I will not renew with this group!! The fan cost 50.00. It took 20 minutes to replace. I was charged 250.00 in labor ??

Fixed works great for cheap issues. I had an expansion valve on my ac go bad. The tech they sent out twice misdiagnosed it, released all the Freon to atmosphere and destroyed the compressor. Fixed then decided to deny the claim. Look elsewhere.

Would not recommend, I had this company on 5 rental houses. Did not renew one of those contracts.

First, I am not happy that the app lies. I am not happy that I am getting this revue when the time I requested was cancelled and had to be rescheduled to this afternoon because no one wants to come out from Austin to Bastrop...because they have no vendors or "PROs" in our area. I am also not happy that I had to pay my "deductible" before I even got a call that they couldn't arrive at the time I requested...I didn't find out about this until after noon on Monday...not in the morning. I could have gotten a quicker response from local companies...and that is a shame.

Have had a few people at my house through fixd. Every time it has been a bad experience where I pay and don't get proper service. Even straight forward service like AC Tune-up turns out to be a real rip-off (they don't do what they claim they'll do).

I felt like Fixd went out of their way to NOT fix anything. I had three A/C inspections (that const me $50 per visit) and each time I was told that my A/C was "fine." Two days after my contract expired, I ended up having to replace my entire unit for the up stairs. The company that replaced the unit couldn't believe that a repairman would have overlooked all the issues in the system. When I contacted Fixd, I was told that a supervisor would call me back. I never heard back. It was worse than a waste of money. You pay Fixd hundreds of dollars so they can come to your house and charge you for the visit.

I have been waiting 3 weeks to hear back on what they are going to don on fixing my A/C.

Cannot believe you keep these people on your list. They cancelled the scheduled appointment three times, including the first one, then showed up, said they could not do the job for the price quoted, and quoted a price more than 3 and a half times the original quote. I refused and they left. Then a representative called back, said they would do it for the quoted price. They came back the following Monday, but instead of performing the work, technician said he could only give me a quote! I asked him to leave; I would never recommend these people for anything, ever!!
