I just began receiving Medicare Advantage with Excellus BC/BS in upstate NY. Fit on health is the contracted company they use for fitness benefits. So far, 2 weeks into JANUARY and I have been unable to access this benefit due to a glitch in the virtual credit card system that Fit on health uses for non network gyms. I am also considering a switch to MVP as they have Silver sneakers, that my gym accepts. Excellus needs to reevaluate their contract with Fit on health.

Horrible organization. Extreme difficulty with gym membership. Customer service is not any help. Contacted them 3 days ago and have gotten no response. Was on hold for 3 hours and then chose the call back option and never got a call back. Paying gym membership out of pocket. Will be changing my Medicare Advantage plan!

FitOn received contracts with Excellus & Highmark Blue Cross in WNY for Medicare Advantage plans effective 1/1/25 and they are off to a rough start. There have been major problems with online enrollment, lack of accessible customer service, overpromised benefits & under-delivered with limited in-network providers. They have a complicated monthly benefit credit model that is a nightmere for members especially snowbirds who travel south for 3-6 months. Silver & Fit and Silver Sneakers are much larger, better & less complicated plans for MA members to use.

This is the first year I have not had silver sneakers as part of my health coverage. Fit on is deficient in what it offers compared to silver sneakers. I am looking into changing my healthcare insurance over this.

They have no live customer service. The chat is a bot. I sent an email via their contact form and they haven't answered in days.

This could be a great company. Unfortunately, they take 3-4 months to add a studio. In the mean time , I loose my credits each month. I am having to lose credits and pay out of pocket because their process is slow .

I have been using this app on and off for years. Im back at it now as you can't go past the variety, and the different levels depending on the tye of workout that you are up for. It's hard to believe that the 100% free option doesnt contain ads and offers the same great classes as the paid section. The paid section provides more music options, nuturion and meal plans and can be mirrored to your TV. Its fantastic.
