Two courteous & able delivery guys from Fitness Resource NY rolled in this AM, w/i 30 min of the time scheduled by their polite dispatcher by phone yesterday, delivered my shiny Octane XR6000 Recumbent Elliptical from Fitness Superstore via elevator into my 3rd flr unit in New Haven w/o bumping in2 any other items, let me quickly adjust the machine 2 my settings & use it 4 30 sec (while being told, "Take ur time!") b4 they hit the road. As I told the delivery guys & as I told Fitness Resource in NY by phone a few moments ago: I realize, usually people call/write 2 complain about stuff, but instead, I just want u 2 know, I am seriously pleased w/ the delivery service u selected. Six months after purchasing a Precor 576i fro Fitness Superstore, I realized that certain default settings could be changed... but I had no idea how to reset them. I called the store and spoke with Jennette. Has there ever been anyone more helpful to a customer? I think not! She spent a lot of time with me, walking me through the settings, explaining (calmly and patiently!) how, and where, to punch in a code that would let me change the default settings. I was going to buy from a company in So. Cal and I’m glad I didn’t. Tim and the team at Fitness Superstore were absolutely wonderful to work with. The Precor equipment we purchased works and looks like brand new. The delivery was on time and the installers were very helpful. If you’re thinking about purchasing any remanufactured equipment give Tim and his team a shot you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased a reconditioned Expresso S3U that I located by a search on the internet. After comparing pricing and reviews, I chose to do business with The Fitness Superstore, despite the fact I am in Pa and the store is in California. I had some questions prior to ordering and contacted the company resulting in a return call from customer service which was then followed up by a call from the owner. My questions were answered and I ordered the S3U. Shipping and Delivery happened as promised with only a minor delay in shipping due to distance and weather, however, the shipper, that they used, was very accommodating and professional. Packaging was excellent and my bike arrived without a mark or scratch looking BRAND NEW. I followed up with Tim, the owner, the day it arrived and thanked him for a great experience. Now its time to get peddling. Thank You Tim French and your wonderful staff at The Fitness Superstore.

We purchased commercial quality re-manufactured Treadmill and Elliptical machines and are very happy with the equipment. It is exactly what we expected and functions perfectly. However, we experienced a couple of issues with the delivery. Upon notifying Fitness Superstore of the issues, they immediately rectified them, in addition to giving us monetary credit for our inconvenience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tim French at the Fitness Superstore to purchase a Star Trac exercise bike. Tim was not only helpful in locating the specific bike I was looking to purchase but was very quick to reply to any questions or concerns I had before, during, and after delivery. I would highly recommend them when considering purchasing any type of gym equipment for your home!

... has there been an equal to fitness superstores. ok. so that's over the top. but after more than two months of using my life fitness treadmill (now named bruce) i'm still pleased with my purchase. from the back-and-forth with tim to converge on a machine, to the three guys hauling the 450# beast through the weeds to my house, to my current cardio-rehab, all's well. bruce and i commune for two hours each day .. both level and at incline. my wife uses bruce whenever possible; and one of our sons ... a paramedic ... and his wife ... both runners... have thoroughly flogged bruce and found him to their liking. so yeah. i'll give the crew at fitness superstores high marks. ... and no: i'm not a relation ;-)
