If I could give it no stars I would. I called to verify availability of the part and was told that it was in stock and would ship that afternoon. Received an email 2 hours later trying to pawn off a used part to me instead of the part I ordered claiming it was not in stock. Checked website again and it says it's in stock. If they lie about simple things they'll lie about important things.

Got wrong ecm from them, then told them they sent the wrong one. Took forever to get someone on the line. Then told me i had to pay to return it. And wait until they verify. Then get me right one.

I purchased an ECU in good faith expecting it to be as advertised. Upon receipt of the item it had been opened and repackaged in a different box. After inspection of the item I noticed several scratches on the back and as well as the front on the terminal pins. At this point I opened a return request with PayPal due to the fact that the item is not as advertised. In my complaint I pointed out the marks on the unit with pictures that I took after receiving the item and as well as on the pictures that was taken prior to shipping supplied by FTP(First Truck Parts). FTP has validation of this complaint via emails direct and through PayPal resolution. The ECU was returned and it has been confirmed by FTP that it has been received. Although FTP has not issued a refund because of a charge back of some sort. There has been no explanation of the charges. I did not order the item to just look at it and send it back. I am in need of the item to get my truck repaired. Now that they are holding my money I can not afford to purchase the item from another Vendor. What could be done better is: inform the customer that the items have been previously opened and repackaged for safe/secure shipping. Also advise that back of the item may have scratches and the front may consist of traces of a connection on the terminal pins from sitting on the manufacturer’s shelf prior to being placed in its original packaging. I think this will help the customer understand the “New, Never Used” term…

Thank you for your feedback. I have attached photos of the part taken before shipping, as well as an image from the webpage of the item you ordered. You can compare these to see the condition of the part prior to shipping. Additionally, based on your review, I want to clarify that the product was sent to you in brand-new condition. We do not advertise or sell item 2298831 in used or refurbished condition—only new. Best Regards, First Truck Parts Team!

Customer service was bad, availability of parts was inaccurate and the part description was completely wrong too. What was on the website is not correct with what was sent.

ATTN PLEASE READ!!! I first called them to verify they had the part I needed on hand since it supposedly on national back order. After I verified it was there, I ordered the part online, then chose to have a driver pick it up so we could get the part faster. After sending a driver and paying time & fuel to go get the part, they call and say there is no business at Hill St. in Candler NC. So I call back and talk to Sophia. She informs me that they have moved to Spartanburg SC. So after 5 hours of wasted time, fuel, and money, I then asked to have it overnighted. She said ok and that she would email me a new invoice so I could change it on my end. The first email was wrong because it said I would still be picking it up at the Candler NC address.(which again is not there). Then I called back and said she would email another one, in which she wanted me to pay $37.00 and some change to have it overnighted, when initially it was only $17.00 when I first placed the order online. I waited until right before 5:00 waiting on the email, so I called and didn’t get any answers. I called the next morning and someone else said they would have her send the invoice. I called back before lunchtime twice and the phone would just ring and ring. So I called from another number and miraculously they answered on the first ring. (Sounds like she was dodging my call) So I then got upset and told her that they have wasted enough of my time and money that I would go get it the next morning in Spartanburg. It took her about 15 minutes to find the address I could pick it up. After I drive almost 3 hours the next morning to get the part, I arrive at 12:10pm to what looks to be an abandoned building. So I called and the lady said that they were closed and wouldn’t be open until 1:00. So I had to wait, 50 more minutes. Finally, 2 young guys show up. They told me to wait outside and they would go get the part. (seemed kind of sketchy). They finally came back out and gave me the part and was trying to be nice. I WILL NOT EVER do business with them again. Terrible customer service!

The actuator plug port was epoxied together and crumbled apart while I was installing the part
