I agree with all negative reviews. They lie, change the price, extort you for more, threaten you with liens after they arrive and charge you the higher price. They placed our items in a dumpy garage (we had to go there to retrieve something) with rats, separating it only by tape from other family items. They destroyed chairs, dressers and other items. The irony is I asked for the higher insurance, which I was told I had to pay the day of. Well guess what, the day of, they tell me I should have filed earlier. And when I filed a claim for all the damages, I got next to nothing...like pennies and I had to fight them for months.

At first my experience with them was great. They had great communication, were quick to respond and when they came to pick up it was smooth and the guys were so friendly and kind. Then the experience turned to absolute sh**t. My belongings were picked up June 2nd and nowhere in my contract, and not once was i made aware my things were going to sit for a week before making it's way to my new home. I got an email June 10th that now my wait starts to get my things. After your things are picked up, they make it nearly impossible to speak with anyone. Then when you do their customer service representatives are extremely rude and unhelpful. This company is handling my entire life and I can't get any answers and on top of it they are just rude and have no empathy for your situation at all. I get an email June 26th my things are dispatched to be delivered over the weekend, most likely Saturday. Well the weekend came and went and never received my things. Then I get an email June 28 stating, again, my things will be delivered soon. Still not a single word since. When I first started the process I spoke with someone and was able to pay with a link when I paid my deposit and when they picked up. Now I'm being told they will only accept cash or money order, which seems very sketchy and unprofessional. Especially after I discussed paying with a link and was able to the first 2 times. I wish I had done more research. I would have gladly paid more for more transparency and better customer service with someone else. This company does not care about their customers at all after they have your things, you are basically at their mercy and left in the complete dark. Granted I did have a very long distance move. I'm extremely upset my belongings sat somewhere for a week and now I'm at 4 weeks without my things and have zero way of knowing if and when I'm actually going to get them delivered. DO. NOT. USE. THEM.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! BE AWARE! I was given a quote for moving, storage and deliver and when they picked up they asked for the payment that was quoted. I asked why can’t I pay half now and then the other half on delivery. I was told that they only collect payment on pickups. Then they sent the delivery with another group and with another receipt for delivery charges. They called their supervisor who claims they didn’t understand English when they were explaining. But I still have the original quote and receipt to show that I paid for the entire service. I ended up paying over $2K for the delivery. Please avoid this company. You can’t say you haven’t been WARNED!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with First Class Movers during my move from Los Angeles to Washington. The original quoted price increased significantly after pickup, and additional charges kept appearing throughout the process. At the last minute, I was told I had to pay an unexpected shuttle fee despite the delivery address being provided in advance. When the truck arrived, I was informed they would only accept cash/Zelle before unloading my belongings. I was told if I could not pay immediately, they would leave with my items and charge me daily storage fees. I had to borrow money from friends under pressure just to receive my belongings. Several furniture items arrived scratched, chipped, broken, and damaged. One furniture piece arrived structurally broken, my TV arrived damaged and nonfunctional, and some items are missing entirely. I have documented photos, paperwork, and submitted a formal claim through their claims provider. This move was stressful, unprofessional, and far from the service that was originally promised.

Awesome service! I called and spoke with Justin in Glen Burnie because my son needed to move ASAP. Justin quickly got everything set up, the truck arrived within 3 hours of my calling, and the entire move only took about 3.5 hours. I’m very satisfied and pleased with the service and the price. The crew was professional, worked quickly, and handled everything efficiently. Thanks to Justin and the office crew for everything they did to make this transit a smooth one. Would definitely refer this company to everyone I know needing moving services.

Worst Class Movers would be a much more accurate name for these disgraceful liars. They HATE the words Customer Service. To them lying is a way of life and do not expect anything other than lies, being misled and then they try to hide behind the small print rather than say, 'we need to fix this'. They will also send you mocked up pictures of a broken down truck to try to justify why they will not deliver as contractually agreed. No one with a spine at this company, so don't wait for a call. They might text, which will be full of lies, but then they will NOT answer your reasonable questions. Their attitude towards ourselves, failed to deliver as contracted. Did not care that we had to hotel it for 5 days at our expense. Would not pick up the phone. Lied constantly in their text messages. Refused to answer questions. They are the worst of the worst and are in cahoots with Move Safe of Florida to inflate the pre agreed prices and hold you hostage. NEVER USE THIS CANCEROUS COMPANY.

Not professional at all. The lead fella gave me a list of our belongings, one page with descriptions followed with 2 pages topped with the word box and a ditto line to bottom of page. There were many items not in a box that were unnamed. When all was delivered after two deliveries a few unboxed items were missing with no mention of them on the belongings list. A few items were smashed from dropping, bathroom scale, photos in frames and my turntable, whi ch they packed, is no longer working. Don’t use Amerisafe or any other company that uses First Class Movers. Call United, American , or Bekins and get moved properly.

can I give negative stars? If so, this truly unethical company would get -10 stars. they are a horrible company. Overcharged us and broke contract, very unprofessional movers that strongly hinted that they need to be fed. We went to the local pizza place and spent $50 and they STILL held out a hand for a tip! The driver/team lead did not park in our driveway, no they CHOSE to park the truck on the road, and then they CHARGED US AN ADDED FEE ($300) FOR A LONG HAUL. The office said the driver/team lead has the discretion to charge if the haul was more than 75 feet from the house; which it wouldn't have been if he parked in the driveway. THEN, the driver also charged a fee (another $300) for stairs! We have FOUR stone steps in the front, but from the side where the driveway is there are no stairs (the contract stipulates that the first flight of stairs is included). Each of the workers used the side entrance (no stairs) and hauled items using a dolly/hand cart. Had to file a claim, which the company disputed and denied. I have requested a 2nd level dispute, and will pursue legal action, if necessary. AVOID this company at all costs. Go local.
