Deceiving sales practices.

Fire Pits sold inserts that apparently they didn't have. I placed the order and within several days I was told I would receive delivery information. Then after several more emails from me to Fire Pits, I was told it was on backorder. Then another few days the order was cancelled by them. There was very bad communication through this sale, with much of it initiated by me to understand where this large expensive insert was in the process.

Seriously regret buying from this company. Their biggest selling point on their website is that all their fireplaces are in stock and ready to ship. It sounded too good to be true so I called customer service to confirm because I needed a fireplace very urgently to finish up my project. I was reassured that once I place the order the fireplace will ship within 1-3 business days. I was excited and put my order in. Next day I got an email saying the item was delayed by a week, the week came, I got another email saying it was delayed by 10 days. 10 days came and they said oh it would be next Wednesday! So far I have lost 3 weeks and still no fireplace. I understand there are unexpected delays just don't false advertise and say you have everything in stock when you actually don't.

I was very disappointed with my recent purchase. The logs were not in good condition…. Much to my disappointment they were cracked and broken. Several pieces were broken into pieces and cannot be used in my unit. The quality is not of value for the amount of money I paid—- $297.00 It is my hope that the issue will be resolved with your customer service department. I thank you in advance for your help.

Question purchasing advertised "stock" items then being emailed after the placed order back ordered 3 months ..and request a review a week after purchase attempt...???
