Charged $8,500 before I was shown the contract
I enrolled in FinTrade Master Academy's $8,500 "Elite Circle" mastermind in June 2026. On the sales call I was told students typically make 15-20% a month. The enrollment email promised a "Proprietary 20% monthly avg return" and a "90 Day ROI Guarantee." My card was charged at 7:09 PM. The contract was sent to me at 7:11 PM, after I had already paid. It turned out to be "strictly and unconditionally non-refundable." The "90-day guarantee" only applies if you make less than 10% after meeting seven conditions, and it's void if you dispute the charge. I was also told they'd been in business for years. The company behind it, Imperium Capital Ventures LLC, was registered in Wyoming in March 2025. I tried to cancel within days and am now disputing the charge with my bank. If you're considering them, get the full contract and refund policy before you pay, and be very skeptical of any promised monthly return. Update (Sept 11, 2026): In response to the company's reply: - I attended one 1-on-1 video call and watched one live trading session as an observer, which I couldn't follow. I never placed a trade and never went through the course lessons. The claims of multiple sessions and 54% course completion are not accurate. - The contract and its refund terms were never shown or read to me before I paid. The company says the full agreement was emailed to me at 6:15 PM. The enrollment email I received at 6:14 PM contained only the checkout link and the promises of a "Proprietary 20% monthly avg return" and a "90 Day ROI Guarantee" - no agreement attached. The agreement was sent to me through PandaDoc at 7:11 PM, after my card was charged at 7:09 PM. - The company says it doesn't promise monthly returns. That same enrollment email lists "Proprietary 20% monthly avg return" as a feature. - The founder did call me after I raised concerns, but I never agreed to drop my refund request. - The company says its full trading record is published. Its website's trading dashboard reads "coming online soon." The company says it has recordings of my calls, and I've asked for complete, unedited copies. The full record is with my bank. My advice stands: get the complete contract and refund policy before you pay.
Response from Fintrade Master AcademySep 11, 2026
Thank you for the feedback. For anyone reading, our records differ materially from this account, and the underlying calls were recorded. On the June 15 sales call, this member asked directly how long we'd been in business. The recorded answer: "coming up on a year now — but Nestor has been coaching students for the past four years; he started the Skool community in 2024." No one told him we'd been "in business for years." On June 17, in a second recorded call, the enrollment agreement was reviewed with him on screen — including its refund terms and the performance guarantee it actually contains: 10% within 90 days, stated at 10:50 into that recording. At 6:15 PM that day, the full agreement and enrollment link were emailed to him, and he completed enrollment himself through that link afterward. Regarding return figures: we don't promise monthly returns to anyone. Our trading results — every win, loss, and break-even, updated as trades close — are published publicly at fintrademasteracademy.academy for anyone to inspect before spending a dollar. After enrolling, he participated in the program: multiple coaching calls(Date: June 18th, June 19th) live trading sessions (June 17th gold session, June 18th New york and gold session, June 19th only New York), and roughly half the curriculum (Skool showed 54% completion). When he raised concerns, the founder personally called him, and on that call they agreed on a path forward together. Days later — contrary to what was agreed — he filed a card dispute and began sending messages demanding a refund. That dispute now sits with the bank, where the recordings, emails, messages, and timestamps are being provided in full, so we won't argue it further here. Any prospective member who wants to understand this situation is welcome to contact us directly — we're happy to walk through the documented timeline directly from our CRM. We provide the complete agreement to every prospect before enrollment, and we encourage exactly the diligence this reviewer recommends.
