Do not buy a fender guitar from the website! I bought a player series Stratocaster, which for the price shouldn't have parts falling off it within a month. So I sent it back, fender don't let you swap out for a replacement so I settled for a refund. I then, due to the lack of availability of the same guitar, bought a player series jazz. I had the same problem, with pickup screws falling off and various problems with the bridge. I sent it in for fender repair which fixed the pickup screws but not the other problems that I detailed. If you want a fender guitar, from the player series , Would go to your local guitar shop where there's a better emphasis on customer service( warranty and setups etc..).

Terrible company, spend your money on a Gibson.

Guitar Fender mini jazz. The guitar brought brand new. The guitar came in a old cardboard box with no packaging for protection shabby and cheap. The guitar was old and covered in black marks and gouges, The neck has deep tool marks. The guitar came without a bag or strap no associated accessories. For paying full price directly from Fender no customer appreciation / care, basic respect. I contacted Fender who were matter of fact and told me how it was. No customer care what-so-ever! Go to a respected instrument shop and buy a guitar from them. Without doubt better than dealing with a faceless company with no respect for it's customers.

Ordered a squier jaguar on line. At time of purchase I received confirmation item was in stock, would ship next business day, and my credit card was charged. Days later after not receiving confirmation I called and sent email. The caller I spoke to said he would look into it, he never called back. Email I received said item had been pulled for shipment and I would receive confirmation, never did. It has been a month now after couple other calls I was told the item was now backordered. As of three days ago the item is now showing up as available for immediate shipping online. My unit now has a label created, but still has not shipped. Fender, just be straight with people, follow up, and change the website language from "Ships next day on available items" to "Ships whenever our factory people get their act together and coordinate with Fedex." And yes, I get the world is in crisis right now and Fedex is insanely busy. But this is whole other category of sloppiness and poor customer service.

I am a beginner purchased a new " Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar", 10 months back. Initially for 8 months I learned open chords and later When learning barre chords I noticed that fretboard(Fret sprout)are little out and sharp which is making my finger having scratches and blood is coming out. Because of this, there was an interruption in my bare chords learning. I asked "Fender's" to help on claiming manufacturer warranty and get a replacement. After repeated follow up's(Email and phone call) Fender asked me to get the instrument inspected by certified technician. After 4-5 phone calls and text Tech1 gave me appointment, On Visit to Tech1's workshop Tech1 asked for receipt(He hasn’t communicated to get receipt before..)and said without receipt he will not even inspect. I went back to the retailer got the duplicate receipt and again went back to the Tech1, he inspected it and said he will get in touch with Fenders. According to him this is a manufacturing defect. After that there was no response back from Tech1 then I started follow-up with Fender and asked Fender to get in touch with Tech1 and get the Inspection report/feedback and help to get this issue resolved. Fender said they can't do anything until Tech1 contact them, by that time there was no claim registered by Tech1 with Fenders. Later after some time on my repeated follow up with Tech1, he said that Fender will not cover this under warranty , if this could have occurred in first 6 months of purchase it would have been covered. On my ask for claim number/reference number Tech1 didn't provided anything and further offered me to correct this issue in $130.Then Contacted Fender again and told them the tech1's response. Then again as per Fender's advice went to Tech2 for inspection. Tech2 told that "Fender" will not accept this issue as a warranty claim. I asked him to file the claim at least but he said calling "Fenders" will eat up his time and before filing the claim he has to call and discuss with "Fenders'". However he offered to fix this issue for $120.On Contacting Fender's again for this issue, they said Fret sprout is covered up to 6 months or 2 season changes. So with this incident you can understand the worst service they have and they do not acknowledge their own manufacture warranty. They have loopholes and excuses ready to void the warranty claim. The point is they are refusing to register/log a claim as if this claim is documented, then as per the warranty they have to fix this. If they fix it then it will be a bad mark on their quality control which they do not want. They have no documented policy to reject this claim officially. I did not expected this attitude from the brand like "Fenders's". My guitar is not very expensive but in future definitely I will not give any business to "Fenders". With this incident everyone can understand how their warranty works.

First of all, I love the sound of a good Fender instrument, I'm not a brand hater. The problem is that finding a good one is becoming harder and harder! The stock Vintage Noiseless pickups on my MIM Deluxe Jazz Bass are noisy. Really noisy. They hum no matter what EQ you dial. On top of that, they produce a horrible, horrible loud POP! when I touch the magnets. Sent it to Fender for a warranty repair 3 weeks ago and came back today. Noise included. Not only they failed to fix it but now the volume pot turns the other way round as well. Also, the way they put back the strings made me cringe. I can't upload a photo, but it was a terrible job. The strings look like they're trying to choke the tuners. I know a 16 year old girl that changes strings better than this Fender repair technicians. Currently on the process of claiming a refund so I can buy a bass from another brand. I saved money for a year and made the mistake of spending it on a Fender. Don't make the same mistake as me. Also, I noticed that the price of my bass (MIM Deluxe Jazz Bass w/pau ferro fretboard) is now nearly 100 pounds more than when I bough it! I hope you're using that extra profit to train your staff, Fender! (UPDATE) Fender doesn't consider the instrument faulty. In their words, "you should expect some noise when you engage the active preamp on an instrument with passive pickups". My head fell off. With the exception of EMG-equipped ones, pretty much all active basses have passive pickups. Also, Noiseless pickups ARE NOT single coils, but stacked humbuckers, so they should eliminate most of the noise anyway. Now I guess it's up to me to fix it, but any mods (including shielding) will void the warranty. I can't wrap my head around this...

Needed a part for a fender mustang guitar amp so emailed customer service multiple times trying to get help. Had zero response. Seems they have become too complacent in their success. I won’t ever be buying another Fender amp and really am quite disappointed at their customer service or lack of it. You have lost a once loyal customer. A simple reply to any of my many emails could have saved things but no reply is unacceptable.
