Fellow's customer support is an automated loop designed to deny warranty claims.
My EKG Pro kettle is completely broken and won't heat. Fellow customer service has subjected me to an endless cycle of scripted responses. They asked me to descale a kettle that physically cannot boil water, and when I pointed out the flaw, they stopped responding. Their live chat platform forces you to submit your serial number, proof of purchase, and photos, promises a resolution, and then sends an automated email forcing you to restart the exact same process from day one. They are intentionally wearing down customers to avoid replacing defective premium hardware. Ticket #648050.

Excellent coffee – very disappointing reliability/durability
I bought a Fellow Aiden from a Danish retailer approximately six weeks ago and, until now, I have been genuinely impressed with it. When it works, it makes excellent coffee and quickly became my preferred way of brewing at home.
Unfortunately, after only around six weeks of normal use, the machine developed a fault.
It suddenly started displaying “Add Water” despite there being plenty of water in the tank. I followed Fellow’s own troubleshooting instructions, checked the shower head for scale and ran the recommended flush.
The machine empties the water tank in approximately four minutes, so water is clearly flowing through it, but at the end of the process it reports: “Flush failed – 0.00 ml/s.” The machine has been carefully maintained and there is no visible scale build-up.
What concerns me further is that, after searching for this specific problem, I have found a number of reports from other Aiden owners describing the same combination of persistent “Add Water” messages and a failed flush reporting 0.00 ml/s despite water actually flowing through the machine.
I obviously have no way of knowing how widespread the issue is, but it is something I would have liked to know before buying the Aiden.
I contacted Fellow support and, to their credit, received a quick and clear response. After I described the fault and the troubleshooting I had already carried out, Fellow recommended that the machine be replaced.
As I bought it from an international retailer, Fellow cannot process the warranty claim directly and instructed me to return it to the retailer. I have now done so and am waiting to see how the warranty process is resolved.
At this point, I have to admit that reading the many critical reviews here – including experiences with Aiden – does not leave me particularly confident about the long-term reliability of a replacement. I sincerely hope that concern proves unfounded.
For now, my experience can probably best be summed up as:
Aiden’s coffee: 5 stars
Aiden’s reliability: 0 stars
That leaves me at 2 stars overall for the time being.
I want to stress that this is not necessarily my final assessment. Fellow responded quickly when I contacted them and recommended replacement rather than asking me to continue troubleshooting a machine that is only six weeks old. I appreciate that.
I will happily update this review – and the rating – if the issue is resolved satisfactorily and I end up with an Aiden that proves to be reliable. I genuinely hope that happens, because when the machine works, I think it is a fantastic coffee brewer.

Clyde kettle
I bought a Clyde kettle and it is the best kettle I have ever had.
Stainless steel interior and boils water super fast. Simple and brilliant.
Also it looks stylish in my kitchen and is ergonomically satisfying.
Extremely happy with this purchase.

Great coffeepot, terrible grinder
Coffeepot is good. Opus grinder is a nightmare - serious static issue, chaff flies everywhere all over.

Several Years in; Very Messy
I've been using the Opus Grinder V2 for a couple years now and the grind is good and I like the control of the grind, but the canister situation is really not good. Makes me not want to use it. There is forever grinds falling out and then its all scratchy when I put the canister back in and the grinds get shoved up at the back and then I use my vacuum to clean up all the grinds in and around the machine once it annoys me too much. I thought there was supposed to be some technology in here to reduce the static and help that issue but not that I can see. Also using that little grind cup for then flipping into your portafilter is not as easy as it looks and is usually messy, stick with a more typical chute style grinder for your espressos.

Carter mug no longer holds heat.
Carter mug no longer holds heat.
After 4 years the mug doesn't hold heat, coffee after a couple of hours is lukewarm. Some might say 4 years is fine, however for a "premium" product that prides itself on being a thermal mug, I would say this is disappointing and.
I approached Fellow to let them know, as I wanted to know if this is expected - note, I have taken good care of it, never dish washed and only ever had coffee in it. They said that because the 1 year warranty had expired there was "nothing they could do" - how unfortunate. They are basically saying that this is expected, so be prepared to buy a new mug every 3-4 years when it no longer holds heat. Not very economical or environmentally friendly, also speaks volumes about how they feel about the quality of their products.
Will be moving to a different brand like Hydro Flask, who's products tend to last a lot longer.

I wanted to love the Aiden Fellow
I wanted to love the Aiden Fellow. When it works, it makes great coffee. Unfortunately, reliability has been a disaster.
I paid $400 for this machine. The first unit failed within two months due to water system issues. Since then, I’ve had multiple replacements, and now the latest unit has stopped heating / won’t complete a brew cycle.
What’s even more frustrating than the hardware failures is the support experience. Instead of acknowledging a pattern of defects, support repeatedly pushed troubleshooting steps and implied user error. After several failed units, it’s hard to believe this is a “me” problem.
At this price point, I expect durability and accountability. I cannot recommend this product. When it works, it’s excellent — but the failure rate and support response make it impossible to justify.

Pretty but bad quality, no costumer service
I get the feeling that the products are only made to be pretty. The quality isn’t good, we had problems with the same model 3 times and the last issue was a safety issue and we didn’t got a refund or a replacement because the warranty was over for a few weeks. Which looks like they build a product with the knowledge it will break a bit after the warranty time (Amazon just agreed with that). It’s a shame.
