Greetings, Vicki, and thank you for reaching out to us. Before being permitted to place your order through our website, and reserve our expedited service a customer must go through our terms of service which contains our cancellation and refund policy. Additionally, two automated emails are sent to every customer once an order is placed to the email address listed in the order by the customer - these emails contain a receipt of purchase as well as links to the necessary instructions to follow. We are terribly disappointed that this items were maybe overlooked, and additionally that there seems to have been some confusion as to how our service works. As the US Department of State processes passport applications on an appointment basis, we outline in our terms of service that the non-refundable $35 cancellation fee is due to this. These terms of service must be reviewed and agreed upon before being permitted to purchase our service on our website. We understand that the world of passport expediting can be intimidating and confusing, and we are sorry to hear that you did not see that portion of our terms of service. Hi Kim, We are disappointed to hear that you do not feel all needed info is clear on our site. We do list this information on our site and in our terms of service when purchasing. We do however understand that researching passport processing online can be confusing. Regardless of whether customers end up utilizing our service or not, customer experience is our top priority. Monnie, I apologize for the confusing experience. We expedite thousands of passports, visas, and international driving permits every month, but we also understand our service is not for everyone, and often do provide full refunds. Though our terms of service explain that we are an expediting service and you must have confirmed travel plans in order to use our service, we would like to improve your experience with our service and offer a full refund. Chris, can you please send us an order number so we can review your situation? Our processing times are based on when we get the documents, and they are usually very accurate. Ultimately, it is up to the applicant to provide the correct documentation (which we outline on our checklists and also have our passport specialists available to assist applicants with each step). However, if an applicant owes child support or doesn't provide all of the government required documents or correct government fee, there is nothing we can do to expedite a passport that the government will not issue. We must have all of the correct documents in order to successfully provide in our expediting service. We'd like to help resolve your issue and improve your experience with our passport services.
