DO NOT RECOMMEND
DO NOT RECOMMEND. Very disappointing experience. We submitted our application on 8 August 2019 and paid $348 for a 3-5 business day service (including in and outbound shipping). We did not hear anything from them until about a week later when I called them to find out the status. Over the phone, I found out that we have to resend the documents because we used a digital signature on the forms which btw, it was stated NOWHERE that this was not allowed. No phone calls, no emails nor anything were updated in the system to let us know about the problem. If I didn’t make that call, the application would still be hanging. I ended up having to pay another $36 for shipping the documents overnight to their office via fedex. I got my passport almost ONE MONTH after the initial application. I have no idea what this 3-5 business days service is about as they failed terribly at achieving that. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR PASSPORT APPLICATION/ RENEWAL. You are better applying it yourself at the post office and save the money.

Won't Return My Money
I decided I needed my passport quickly and was routed here by the government. Little did I know that there was a passport servicing center about an hour away where I could expedite on my own. I cancelled my order and received prompt attention to cancel. It has been over 2 months and have not received my refund for $259.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company, the do not like to give refund and steal money from customers that cancel, Warning you will get your money back in 1 month.

We make it a requirement to agree to these terms of service in order to even purchase the service because we want to be sure that our service, requirements and policies are read by all our customers. I wouldn't recommend using this company…
I wouldn't recommend using this company to anyone at all. I paid for the service and then realized within that same 30 minutes that there was a conflict with my trip and I didn't need my passport in the expedited time. I called to cancel the order less then 15 minutes later and was told that I had to go online to cancel it. In addition to that, I was told it would take 25 days ( the longest refund time I've ever heard of) to get the refund. Then on top of everything else, they told me that they were keeping a portion of the payment even though I cancelled the order literally less then 20 min after I placed it. They make money off of people even when its needed.

The terms of service, that you agree to when initially purchasing our service, is set up to accommodate the appointment or "slot" system at the State Dept for the submission of passport applications. We have the agreement to our terms as a required field when you purchase because we want to be sure that each of our clients are aware of what they are purchasing and what our process looks like. I called to cancel my order a month ago…
I called to cancel my order a month ago was told it would be 21 business days before I would be refunded. Well here we are almost a month and half and no refund. Ive read the other reviews with similar feedback and read the companies reply. No ownership over their poor customer service. Their customer service reps need training on empathy. When I called she said were backed up. How is that my problem? Please give me my 400 bucks back.

Be weary of this place
I’ll start by saying that Fastport did end up refunding my money in full, after providing me with ZERO services, sitting on my money for 30 days and ONLY after I filed a complaint with the BBB. As a supposed reputable business, a customer should not have to file a complaint with the BBB to get this company to do the right thing. Do your homework. It seems to me that quite a few of the “positive” reviews for FastPort are not legitimate.

Without your order information we would not be able to comment on the delay of your refund - whether you were within the cancellation window outlined by our terms of service you agree to when initially purchasing, change in billing info, etc. But it does sound like we, regardless of the circumstances surrounding your cancellation of our service, issued a full refund - something outside of our terms of service, as that means we did not apply the slot allotment fee that is applied regardless of whether someone ends up completing the service or not. I am glad that we were able to find a resolution for you, as our ultimate goal is the best customer experience possible, regardless of whether or not they end up receiving a passport through us. I was provided no service whatsoever
I was provided no service whatsoever, and I was charged and not refunded several hundred dollars. I strongly suggest you look for other, more straightforward options to get a passport quickly. Be very cautious. Realize that whatever happens with your passport you will pay full fare.

Our refund policy that is clearly outlined in our terms of service, that must be agreed upon in order to proceed in placing an order with us, lets you know that we are a third-party expediting service. If that is not a service that an applicant requires, we urge people to go through their local processing offices. This business is not what is advertised…
This business is not what is advertised on the web page. "Same day service" resulted in no action whatsoever. I called and emailed numerous times to request an urgent call back and received none. Following that I was billed and not refunded. Be very careful with this service. Check carefully what same day service means, by their definition. It may not be the same as yours.

Additionally, our service expedited passport applications - once a customer purchases our service, they are emailed a detailed instructional checklist outlining all necessary documents, steps and information. Once our office receives the completed documentation as outlined in our instructions, that is when our service comes into play and expedites the timeframe within which your passport is processed. Our service timeframes begin once we receive your application, as these are processing timeframes only - also outlined in our terms of service.
