In my experience of the lifetime account I bought for $32 the product is slow, glitchy and sometimes SIX seconds of latency (waiting for a page to load). I suspect that their service is significantly oversubscribed and they might move users they're looking to lose onto the better servers until the 31 day guarantee period has elapsed. I my case they ignored all EIGHT emails I wrote requesting a refund as per their terms of service [ fastestvpn c0m terms-of-service ] My advice if you have unfortunately purchased a service: Write an email requesting a refund and quote the terms of service page. They will in all likelyhood ignore this your email and if they do respond they will ignore your request with an offer to 'fix' your issues to drag things out over the 31 day guaranteed period. Don't engage them. After a few days just go for a chargeback at Paypal (or credit card). Paypal refunded me instantly, perhaps because of fastestvpn's reputation with them. If you haven't bought anything from them DONT! If you have make sure you request a refund in time (<31 days) and then contact Paypal etc for a charge back. I think that the 5 star reviews are obviously fake. They're mostly the same length and read the same.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend being cautious about which VPN provider you choose. If you’re looking for a service with poor connection reliability and unresponsive support, FastestVPN is an option to consider—but I personally wouldn’t recommend it.

I did not hear from them at all until I disputed everything with the credit card company. Once you give them your money, best of luck getting back because they'll provide fake invoices to the credit card company claiming that the charges are for something different that what you paid for. If you do work with them, make them sign CONTRACTS with EVERYTHING in writing. See how they respond.

Like others, I believe that the glowing reviews fro fastestVPN on Trustpilot are FAKE! If you can afford it, opt for a better VPN! Again, I am at a loss for why I can't leave zero stars or less. I've been using this service for years on a lifetime plan and had nothing but trouble! Even tried upgrading to pro a couple years back. but had NO better service. That was very disappointing! I complained and wanted to get a refund, but that's not happening. Many dropped connections and the kill switch sometimes fails, leaving me vulnerable with no warning. Trouble finding servers that will even connect. When they do, speed can vary from slow to a dial-up type crawl (remember aol?) Yeah, not gigabits per second, not megabits...KILOBITS! Try different protocols, different servers. Forget "smart" connect or "wireguard", TCP is best option but the best speeds I get are slow. Very frustrating! Sometimes I get lucky and find a server where wireguard actually connects and I go like crazy...no, wait...after awhile another dropped connection and kill-switch failure. And customer "service? Infuriating. They're gonna waste even MORE of my time, treating me like a child, walking me through all the steps I've already told them I've tried. I have 13 Tabs open right now, running with no VPN. I spent close to two hours already this morning trying to get a good connection. What connections I could get were in kilobits. They want me to run Ookla (speedtest.net) and don't even know it's called Ookla. Even though I'm reading off the speeds to them from Ookla while we talk, they give me the url and insist I must take screenshots with and without a VPN connection and email the results to them...Like I work for them! I waste maybe 30-40 hours a year tearing my hair out with them giving me redundant advice every time. Why do I stick with them? Lifetime plan. All the others I've found want me subscribe and let them take money from my bank (autopay) and I never allow that. Suddenly, dropped connections, difficulty establishing connections, poor speeds, no "Wireguard connections at all....JUST LIKE FOR THE TWO YEARS BEFORE! This time, customer service wanted to push their authority even further, asking me to give them a remote connection, so they could screw with my PC! Yeah, the same people who can't get a VPN right, right? Not happening! FASTESTVPN IS JUST A HUGE, ONGOING, FRUSTRATING WASTE OF TIME!!!

I avoid including full name.... but never solved problems, their refund policies... are bogus as they are not respected.... 40$ for a lifetime plan is too much for a service that doesn't work and should be given away.... real rubbish

Avoid at all costs. Contacted them twice via email for a refund and no reply. Contacted them via their chat and they state they replied but wait I am having issues receiving their emails. Asked to email via a different email guess what no reply. All deliberate delay tactics to get you over the 30 Day money back guarantee. Software looks like its from the 90s slow, buggy and a lot of servers not working. Had to seek refund via paypal as still no reply to emails

As per their own "31 day satisfaction guarantee" I requested a refund within just 2 hours of testing as it was obvious that their service was lacking. Max download speeds of 25mbps on the best server with most optimal settings when my own connection is 500mbps is pretty bad, not even enough for one 4K video. Of course they tried the typical "have you tried xyz" many times until finally "accepting" the refund. After a week still no refund, so I pushed them again to process it and again "you'll receive it shortly" and then ghosted me. Well 2 weeks later I had to open a paypal case (which they never replied to either) to get my money back. Curious I looked into the company, as their paypal doesn't match their business name. Turns out the owner is directly tied to "360 Digi Marketing LTD", a company that worked pretty hard to bury the fact that they were charged in 2022 for fraud and had over 5500 trademarks invalidated.

Support by e-mail and the support chat are horrible to communicate with. They take no responsibillity, stop responding, don't listen. They claim over and over again, that my refund is on hold from PayPal. I phoned PayPal support who says otherwise.
