We have been trying to refinance, but it failed twice. Their reason told to us was that our property does not comply, or compete with prices in our are. A month ago a very rustic, old, ugly, slightly renovated horrible home a block from where we live was sold for $450,000.

Our Agent was very helpful from the first phone contact on and then through all the steps. She answered all the questions we had to our satisfaction. She was always available and very personable. We were real happy that a Notary came to our home for the signing of the application for the loan and then later another Notary for the closing. The service from FAAR over the years was very good. My only issues had to do with keeping up with the interest rate reductions and a few of the fees. The people in the organization are very professional and responsive to the needs of their clients.

In regards to my insurance claim and funding the repairs on my house, it makes it difficult to get the repairs done with just half a disbursement of funds from you. Once the repairs are done and payment to the contractor is required, I will have to use my own funds before the second half dispersement is available.
