The worst customer service ever. I've been on hold multiple times for several hours and no response. It seems that they purposely don't take the calls because they know many people would like to cancel their trip to China because of Coronavirus. Absolutely Scam. ***I WILL NEVER BUY A TICKET FROM FARESCAN AGAIN***

Once you book the Tickets, they don’t even give you 24 hours cancellation or make any changes to your tickets. And they give you only 12 hours to change the date or cancel the tickets and we have to pay Cancellation charges And penalties for changing the date. This is Not Correct. I don’t recommend anyone to buy tickets from farescan.

THIS COMPANY IS BIGGEST SCAM. I have been on phone for 5 times for hours and finally got connected with BILLIE. He didn't refund the tickets. also didn't connect to his supervisor. If I could give a negative star, I would. Like others said, this company profits from the coronavirus without giving a full refund, even though the airline would give full refund. They are human scums. I am letting people know not to buy from this company and I hope they will be out of business soon. I am going to complain next to civil aviation and secretory of state and BBB, Facebook and LinkedIn, travelocity etc

I thought its only me here who had very bad experience with Farescan. Chinese eastern told me they are providing full refund to customers but i have to get my refund from farescan. But farescan told me its not refundable due to taxes and everything. I called chinese eastern again and they told me we are providing full refund which includes taxes and everything. When i told a farescan customer care. They stop replying me. Well this is sad these people making money from cornavirus situation well i am thinking to go to media and travel advisory to know what these farescan website is doing right now.

Like other people have said, DO NOT BOOK with this company! I also tried calling them to get a refund because of the Coronavirus. My friend who booked with Expedia was able to get a FULL refund. The first time a called them I was on hold for over 2 hours. I told the person (who was very rude) about the situation and how the US government has a travel ban on China. He put me on hold, when he got back on the phone with me he claimed that he spoke to someone at China Eastern who said that I bought a ticket that is non refundable and that they would not give me a full refund; first of all, that is BS because I called China Eastern before calling Farescan and they were closed, then he goes on to say that they will give me a refund of $270 (my ticket was $476). I asked him why they can’t give me a full refund, he tells me that the taxes that go to the government/airport and fuel cost are non refundable. I don’t care about fuel cost or taxes for a trip that I am no longer going on. I told him that is unacceptable, he told me to call China Eastern myself. So I did that the next day. They were way nicer than the people who work at Farescan. The girl I spoke to said they are honoring full refunds but I would need to get that from Farescan 😒 I called Farescan back (spoke to another very rude person) to tell them that China Eastern is offering full refunds and I should get all of my money back. The guy told me that the taxes are non-refundable. I was so upset I wanted to scream and yell. I told him that they are taking advantage of the situation. The Coronavirus is not something to take lightly and I am not taking the chance of getting sick or getting stuck in China. He told me he understands but I am only getting back $276, and I can take it not take it. Please do not purchase a flight from this company! Even though it my be the cheapest it is not worth the hassle.

False advertising. Stay away.

Do not use this third party provider! China Eastern Airline is refunding all their flights due to the corona virus issue, but Farescan is charging $300 CAD per person for cancellation fee and $250 per person for exchange flights. This is not acceptable as they should not be profiting on "human life" issues!!!
