I just listened to my mother find out she was charged extra, and the flights no longer existed, and that they would refuse to do anything to help our stranded family in another country. Thankfully, I found this website and have been able to find helpful information from people that have also been screwed by this site. There was a REQUEST for a refund, and the amount was not even the full portion of what she was robbed of, or original price of the ticket. We will do our best to battle them for a full refund, because I know that all we shall get from them is an automated response on this website. El día domingo 11 de septiembre de 2022 compramos con mi pareja dos boletos de avión a través de su plataforma Farescan de la aerolínea Spirit Airlines de New York a Los Ángeles a un precio individual de $133.58 por persona en total $267.16. los cuales fueron cargados a nuestra tarjeta de débito, no obstante, el documento que recibimos aparecía estado de confirmación de reserva pendiente y nos solicitaron llenar un formulario con una información para completar la reservación dicha información la considerábamos sensible por lo que mi pareja les envió un correo diciéndoles que esa información solicitada era confidencial; por lo que se recibió respuesta de Farescan que se contactara con dicha compañía y proporcionaron el número de teléfono y correo electrónico. Al final se logró completar el trámite de la compra de boletos por un costo elevado de $267.16 + $359.16=$626.76, cabe mencionar que es un abuso fue cobrado doble los boletos se contactó a Farescan pero dijeron que no se iba a devolver el dinero, cabe mencionar que los boletos al día de hoy costaban $179.58 cada uno un total de $359.16. El valor que debieron haber cobrado de manera responsable y correcta debería ser por boleto es $133.58 + 46.00 = 179.58 sabiendo que ese es el valor incluyendo el ajuste a la tarifa de hoy de los boletos. Es por ello que solicitamos se nos devuelva los $267.16 debido a que ya fue cobrada la nueva tarifa de boletos, consideramos que estamos en todo nuestro derecho de reclamar y no dejar que se haga esto de manera injusta. DO NOT book from these people. I bought tickets for my family trip to India and they charged me extra $100+ on my card than the price showing on the website. On top of that they called me after couple of days ( my tickets were confirmed by that time) and asked me to pay additional amount because the rates are increased. Not sure how come the price change matters after the tickets are confirmed. They threatened to cancel my tickets if I don't pay the additional amount. Since it's a peak season I was not able to cancel, I paid 200+ additional amount. I have proofs for each transaction. DO NOT book from these people.

WHY DO FARESCAN REVIEW IS 0 STAR ( THERE IS A RESON) I am southasian origin from canada. i feel SHAME calling these guys south asian ( www. farescan.com) all boys and girls work with FAKE NAME. mostly they speak hindi / urdu in the back ground. they seems like either indian or pakistani. they are robbing people. they robbed me badly leaving me no option. i had no option buying from them because i paid them extra to hold my credit (BIG MISTAKE) which flight i cancelled due to covid. 1) They will promise you that you pay some extra money to hold your fund. and use that fund toward booking ticket in future, they also promised that i have to pay future fare difference only. 2) They will tell you that you have to pay fare difference at the time of rebooking ticket at current fare on farescan website. ( i was agree but they will come up with new thing at the time of booking that still have to pay extra rebook fees, new booking fees, airline policy and many more big false story) 3)You will ended up paying double the price than market. 4) YOU STILL WANA EXPEREINCE THESE GUY> ?? go for it. 5) They trap people. they are absoulate lie. 6) They will keep your visa card information for their data to missuse. this will happen. because they charge me without asking my credit card number. that means thay still kept my visa card information when i book my ticket first time. 7) They will promise you but later on they will turn around. 8) YOUR KARMA WILL NOT SPARE YOU> GOD IS WATCHING YOU> DONT FORGET> FARESCAN IS A BIG SCAM> THE WAY YOU LOOTED ME, GOD WILL PUNISH YOU> YOU WATCH. Save yourselves and DO NOT book with them. Getting ready for my honeymoon with my husband and realized we never received an email to check into our flights for the next day. We checked and our flights to Italy were never processed by farescan even though we received a confirmation email after purchasing. When we called they said they called us to let us know — a lie. Farescan then tried to sell us 2 tickets for $4k to Italy… the original amount was supposed to be $1300 for 2 tickets. So yes, this company is a complete scam and try to get people in a desperate position where they are forced to buy more expensive tickets. Stay. Away.

Complete scammers, when tried to contact them for seating, food preference etc. they automatically charged without consent and then argued continuously, then they said they refunded (hard to believe). The site then used their own email (jamieexploretrip.com) to manage booking on airindia site. I have screenshots of everything and conversations. I promise this will now go to better business bureau and get these scammers. Airindia cannot even find PNR booking on their systems.

They DO NOT refund money even after the airlines have refunded them the money for a flight cancelled by the airlines. They deduct money inspite of airlines giving full refund!! CAL has refunded full amount of ticket in January, now it is end of June still no refund by faresacan. I have talked with customer reps Collins; Alex; Johnson; Hasan who have not yet connected me to a supervisor. Will never buy thru them !!

I purchased a ticket to India for $2560 for travel starting in 3 days. The transaction went through and I received an email confirmation along with the Air India PNR code. But their email said that I should be receiving another confirmation for e-ticket. AI website indicated that the booking was confirmed. When I did not receive the e-ticket confirmation for sometime, I called Farescan. They told me that the booking was not confirmed because the price went up by $300! When I declined to pay $300, I was asked for $121! I declined that as well and asked why did the Air India website show my ticket as confirmed. At this stage the agent told me that she would honor the price that I paid, and my ticket "would be" confirmed. I am now keeping my fingers crossed that the booking stays confirmed as it currently shows on AI website. *Edited 2 days later I was able to block the transaction when our credit card company flagged the transaction for potential fraud. After that they called me posing as if they were calling on behalf of Kayak!
