Farebuddy.com is an Indian company that uses fraudulant tactics to scam you of your money. If you do fall for their scam, cancel your credit card, as you will continue to be scammed. What a shame that this company hasn’t been shut down. They have no morals.

Pattern of Fraudulent Behavior: Based on public reviews and consumer complaints, it appears FareBuddies engages in systematic fraud: • Fake Deals to Attract Customers: FareBuddies tricks customers by advertising nonexistent airline deals at “too-good-to-be-true” prices. • Bait-and-Switch Scheme: Once the customer provides their payment details, FareBuddies claims the tickets are on hold or unavailable, forcing customers to pay higher prices to secure their bookings. • Unauthorized Transactions: Numerous consumers have reported additional unauthorized charges made to their credit cards after dealing with this company. Supporting Evidence: 1. Better Business Bureau (BBB): FareBuddies has an “F” rating with the BBB. Many complaints describe scenarios identical to mine, including bait-and-switch tactics, no refunds, and unauthorized charges. Read BBB Complaints. 2. Sitejabber Reviews: Customers report similar fraudulent practices. One user noted, “I was offered a cheap ticket, but after payment, I was told the ticket wasn’t available. I ended up paying more and found unauthorized charges on my card.” See Reviews. 3. Consumer Discussions on Reddit: On forums like Reddit, users warn against FareBuddies’ practices, calling it a scam. One traveler wrote, “They advertised a $400 ticket, then told me it wasn’t valid unless I paid $900 more. They charged my card without consent!” Reddit Discussions.

I should have read the reviews before I booked a flight with this company. it’s a scam! I booked a flight for 5 passengers and received an email confirmation. But no actual ticket confirmation. The next day I received a call stating 3 of the passengers were not guaranteed. They proceed to try and upcharge me $900. Its sad that people have such low standards… I am more angry at myself for almost allowing this to happen.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! This site is a total scam!!! They sell you a massively discounted ticket and then tell you to call them. You call them and they tell you the airline overbooked and there are people ahead of you in the queue for standby but if you upgrade for a ridiculous sum of money they can book you immediately. When you tell them no and that you want a refund, they tell you everything is non-cancellable and you've lost your money. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JOKERS
