Fandango doesn’t even deserve my one star. They are a horrible horrible company! They just take your money with nothing in return. I had bought 2 tickets through fandango and noticed they did not send me a confirmation number, but charged my card. I went to the theater and told them what happened and they said they could look up the tickets but when they did they could not find them. I showed them fandango charged my card and showed them, but they still made me buy 2 tickets again and told me to call fandango. Fandango’s customer service was awful and rude. They made me email my bank statement to show they charged my card making it sound like once I emailed them this they’d return my money. That wasn’t the case though. This was back in October. 5 ignored emails later from me and proof I bought the tickets from them, they still have not returned my money!! They are complete scammers!! Buy your tickets any other way. I’m still surprised there in buisness with all the bad reviews I have read. My friend wanted to give me fandango gift cards for Christmas and I said don’t waist your money that company is awful! I will never do buisness with them again and suggest no one else does!!

Apparently Fandango does not care about the terrible reviews they get. They refused to refund my purchase also - I mistakenly bought over 21 tickets & the theater would not allow my grandson in. By the time they got to me, the movie had started. I will NEVER buy through them again & will tell everyone I know about this

I received a Fandango gift card for Christmas.The nearest theater to me doesn't accept fandango.When I finally did find a theater they also charge a convenience fee and you still don't get an actual ticket.You still need to get to the theater early to have your tickets printed up.On top of that you can't purchase concessions with a Fandango gift card so the additional money on my card is pretty useless unless I want to drive all the way to this crappy theater again (which I don't).To make a long story short , just get someone an actual theater card like AMC or Regal or Horizon or better yet a visa gift card .Convenience fee is a joke when it's an inconvenience.

I was re-directed to their site searching for theatre near me and purchased tickets to a different theatre by mistake. I called them right away and they said that since the movie started 5 minutes ago I don’t get my money back. They can rest assured I will NEVER use them again. Their loss over the next 20 years.

Just went through a problem with Fandango. A few months ago, someone hacked into my Fandango account and bought tickets to a movie in a town hours away from my home. I contacted them afterwards, and I got a refund, but subsequently on several occasions when I tried to buy tickets, I kept getting an "internal error", and was unable to complete the purchases. When I contacted customer service, they eventually told me because I contested the hacked charge, I was no longer wanted as a customer. Nice! After many years of using the service, get shown the door, even though I changed my password and deleted my payment information from the site so that could never possibly happen again. Stay away - no need to be a customer of a company that threats their customers like criminals.

Terrible company. It's sad when they inform you to bring method of payment to a movie theater and the theater has no immediate record of it. Terrible company. I predict will go under in 2020.

Never deal with Fandango! Would order tickets through movie company only. No customer service! They will just take your money!! No refunds no consideration no more business from me!!!

Fandango is run by complete incompetent people. They also own Rotten Tomatoes. I can never buy tickets from Fandango. Ever. It's always internal error. How can this be? I have 5 credit cards and ALL of them are declined on Fandango. The CEO of Fandango should be fired.
