Very simple Really: I bought movie tickets for Jurassic World Dominion 3D for 6/23/22 for a 6:15pm showing. My page refreshed on its own and reverted me to the date of 6/22/22 "my current date" which I had no idea it happened until l received an e-mail asking me how I liked the movie. I then proceeded to pull up my tickets and the dates were not the dates I chose, instead they were for the same day I was currently in. I read on the email that you cannot refund after to show time.... I thought this can't be correct surly they can see the tickets were not scanned. SO I decided to call .......which finding there number was not the easiest, or getting them to answer there phone. None the less after over a full hour I got a call back and I explained what happened. The customer service Associate read to me what he was supposed to... which was basically your out of luck. So I then tired LOGIC which did not work at all... I posed the question if you did not use something and it was the wrong item you should be able to get your money back.... the person actually agreed with me but said they could not nor did they have the ability to fix it. So after our conversation and after the fact I started reading the reviews and found this is how they make a living by scamming people. Maybe they accidently chose the wrong theater, the wrong movie, the wrong time, and yes the wrong day...... so sad for your bad luck because FANDANGO.COM doesn't care. There business plan is to actually Make it to hard and time consuming to get your money back so the client just moves on and forgets it. Its the principle of the matter, the principle is....if this happened to you would you be happy, the simple answer is no. That being you can deduct that this company nether cares or appreciates there customers. I am curious Though on the BBB site that there rated A+ yet they have a one star on the very same site? They state they will refund your money prior to show, but they don’t refund you full amount. Customer service is very bad. I won’t be using fandango anymore. I hope by leaving a review that I can prevent people from the headache and regret that I experienced on dealing with them.

Can I give them negative stars: yes they are as awful as people say. Somehow I was a VIP member and they keep sending $5 coupons for accumulated points. They expire after 2 weeks (really, who goes to the movies that often?). I finally happened to hit a movie a could actually use it on, and it won't take the code. Wrote to them to get refund, no answer. Will book directly with theater from now on (unfortunately owned by the same company as Fandango :-(

SCAM LIKE: Attempted to use the fandango site. Purchased my tickets for Sat and didn't realize the system selected Fri. When I attempted to resolve the issue nobody answered or returned my call and because it was after the showing they refused a refund... When I went in to purchase the tickets once again, the system selected yet another, date... I WILL NEVER use fandango moving forward and do not recommend using the whack service when you can just buy direct.

Told me they would replace my movie certificates that expired during the pandemic and are now refusing to do so. They do not respond to emails or messages via social media. Waited on their chat feature for over 2 hours and was never connected with anyone. AWFUL customer service. Will avoid using again at all costs.

Fandango is the worst company ever!! No supervisor to talk to and waited each time I called over one hour! There is no reason to order your tickets through fandango when you can just buy at movie theater. Had gift card that specifically say do not expire and I have spent hours and hours on the phone trying to rectify this and they have the same answer every time. "we have escalated your concern" Going 4 weeks now and still no replacement card. Seriously save yourself the aggravation and just buy your tickets at the box office.

Accidentally ordered tickets for the wrong movie theater, but no one is answering my online support request. The phone number ( 1-800-FANDANGO ) provided in the first email response (just a generic message & not an actually reply to my question) generates a busy tone immediately without ringing once.

I purchased a gift card for my sister and used a Paypal balance (big mistake). I entered the wrong email address for her. I reached out to customer support to correct the email. No response ... for 2 weeks now. I figured out how to change the email address through their online portal, but that doesn't work (changing the addresses and clicking save, doesn't actually save the address). Since I used my paypal balance, I can't even dispute the charge with my credit card company. Yikes. Beyond disappointed with Fandango.
