Wow..I thought I might've been the only one that got "taken" for 2 movie tickets that I tried to get a refund on way before the movie started,.but reading these reviews it seems commonplace and they treat everyone like they did me. I will NEVER use Fandango again and I'm asking all of my friends and family to discontinue using them as well. They are a poor excuse for a ticket business. They basically stole my money and had no regrets about it. Everyone who works there just remember what comes around goes around and you will get yours. Bad business all the way around! DO NOT use Fandango, they are thieves!

Deeply disappointed with…
Deeply disappointed with Fandango—bought tickets, but the movie shown was entirely different from what was advertised. The manager recommended contacting Fandango, emphasizing it was their issue. However, my refund request was denied due to timing. After years of loyalty, this experience has left me disheartened. I'll be exploring alternative methods for future movie tickets. Not recommended!

Avoid Fandango They will steel your money and create a big hassle at the theater.
If I could I would give Fandango 0 stars. I highly caution any hard working person from using Fandango. They stole 24.32 from me yesterday. I was unable to redeem my purchase at the theater because they did not send me a code. They stole from me. When I called to resolve the issue they wouldn't refund my money. Avoid using them at all . They are untrustworthy.

FandagoTrying to get refund for ticket is…
Trying to get refund for ticket is almost impossible, I called and representative told me to go on website and purchase ticket and my credit would be applied and of course it wasn't, now I can't seem to get gift card or credit. So it seems like I'm just gifting fandago $26.00 like who can afford that with today's prices. They suck won't use them again or shall I refer anyone.

They deserve 0 stars!!!!
They deserve 0 stars!!!!
Purchased tickets on Fandago. Drove 1 hour to the theater because the movie was not playing in my area. Once we got there we were advised that the movie wasn't playing at the theater and that they never received it. We were told that other movie goers had come in to watch the movie, only to be turned away. The theater staff was very kind and refunded us our money. I will never buy tickets from Fandago again.

AWFUL COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
AWFUL COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
WE WERE IN EMERGENCY AND UNABLE TO USE THE TICKETS AS PLANNED. THEY WOULD NOT CREDIT OR REFUND US THE MONEY. WE WENT LATER IN THE WEEK AND PURCHASED THE TICKETS, WHICH WERE OVER SIX DOLLARS LESS THEN FROM FANDANGO. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE AWFUL.... I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY WE WERE TREATED.... WE ARE CURRENTLY DISPUTING THIS WITH OUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER. IT IS NOT THE MONEY; WE EXPECT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY - THEY HAVE LOST OUR BUSINESS.

They stuck me with bad seats and refused to refund the service charge
(For a little bit of context here, it's helpful to know that most sites that offer online ticketing and seat selection for concerts and other shows have a map that displays not only the seats, but also the stage or screen. Fandango's map only shows the seats.)
I booked a pair of theater seats that were horizontally dead center according to their map. Unfortunately, their map didn't account for the fact that the horizontal center of the seating area did not align with the horizontal center of the screen. As a result, our "dead center" seats provided a view equivalent to sitting on the left aisle. Meanwhile, walk-in customers who did not pay a service charge to Fandango wound up with much better seats than we had. I got off the phone with Fandango a few minutes ago, having called because I felt they had not earned their $3 service charge. I explained the situation to the customer service rep, and the rest of the conversation went something like this:
Rep: So are you asking for a refund on the tickets or just the service fee?
Me: Just the service fee.
Rep: I'm sorry, we can't refund the service fee.
Me: Then how about a $3 refund on the tickets?
Rep: I'm sorry, we can't refund that either.
Me: The why did you ask me if I want a refund on the tickets or the service fee?
Rep: I don't know. Sorry.
Me: May I speak to your supervisor?
Rep: No
Me: Why not?
Rep: Why do you want to speak to my supervisor?
Me: Because I'm about to cost your company thousands of dollars on social media. I thought maybe your supervisor would be smart enough to just issue a $3 refund, especially since your company did not really provide a service to me.
Rep: I'll get him.
> Supervisor got on the line and I expressed the same concerns to him. I also added:
Me: You understand that I'm just going to ask my credit card company to block the $3 service charge, right? Since you're not getting my money either way, the best move for you is to just issue the refund. At least that way, you don't get shredded on social media.
Supv: Sorry, I can't help you.
Me: Has Fandango ever issued a refund for anything?
Supv: You can get a ticket refund before the show. We're not set up for anything else. Have a nice evening.
