I never received a confirmation email to the email address on file for my tickets. I have tried no less than a dozen times to contact them through chat, and no one is available despite their stated business hours. AI was not helpful. Luckily, I took a screen grab of the confirmation number, but I will never use them again. Too bad. They used to be a great app to use.

Signed up for their fan rewards program. They did not deliver the promotional products that were presented. I sent email to their support team asking why. Never received a response even though web site said I would receive a response within 72hrs. I then phone their support line. After waiting for almost 90 minutes for someone to anger I gave up. I canceled my membership. DONT BOTHER to become a Fandango me member .

fandango sucks so bad i cant even imagine why they dont have exceptions for a person’s passing away to get my family’s tickets exchanged or even just move to the same theater company to a city closer to me. we were just told that my cousin passed away and that the funeral will be on saturday when we booked our first family movie time in oxnard, ca to be able to attend a baby shower after the movies. we planned it a week earlier so we can have good seats. mind you, these tickets i got from donating platelets and have been saving them since mid year this year. so i finally booked not thinking my cousin would be passing away and i finally get to spend time with my kids who are part of a custody battle cause i have them together for the first time in 3 years. i asked fandango if we can move it here in LA so we can still use the tickets but closer to where the funeral is going to be. we are not even supposed to go to the movies but because of their refund policy i said ok just so the 3 hr platelet donations for each 4 tickets will not just vanish, we will watch the movie despite the funeral. but fandango says, NO EXCEPTIONS even if i did get the fandango membership because i am still on the trial period i cannot use the benefits. i said i am willing to pay for the monthly but now they wont even cancel the trial period so i can already start the paid membership and get the benefits. what the heck fandago does not even have a heart. i asked, so if i pass away and i have a ticket my kids cant even get a refund or an exchange because i cant un-“die” just to watch a movie. fandango, you need to change your policies, even airlines refund or reschedule flights because of a death. and im fine if i was lying but all these circumstances are all happening in my life, the death, the divorce with custody battles and yes i do donate platelets for 3 hrs each time and yes i cannot afford the expensive movie tickets anymore so i do take advantage of free movie tickets even if it means i give away all my blood so i can actually spend time with my kids who i dont get to have because their dad wants to get full custody of and is asking me for alimony and child support. there is such a thing as a male person who does not have the pride or ego to do all these to a female like me. and fandango cant help in any way. NO EXCEPTIONS EVER

I just placed an order for a Fandango gift card after receiving an email with a promo code. The promo code was not accepted, but the order went through with no discount. I called customer service, to be placed on hold for 1 hrs and then told nothing could be done. I will never use Fandago again.

I purchased five tickets for a movie and 2 family members were not able to make it since they were coming from out of town and they are having car troubles. I called customer service to get refunded for the two tickets we could not use (over two hours before the movie start time.) I was told that they could only refund the whole order and that I would have to go back in and try to purchase the three tickets I needed again, but that they may no longer be available. Obviously they would not be since it is a hight demand movie. I was forced to pay for five seats in order for my daughter to see the movie. It is ridiculous that in this day and age, Fandango does not have the capability to refund a single ticket from an order. Apparently they do not know how to regenerate a QR code. It seems like this should not have been hard to figure out. I will not be using Fandango ever again. I hope that this information saves someone the trouble that I have had.

Purchased tickets through the app for a kids movie Wild Robot. While we were watching the movie to our horror we heard noises on our seats and trays, grabbed our phones to get light and what do we see mice in our food and on the seats around us! We were told by the theater that we had to reach out to Fandango for a refund, which we did just for them to say the movie viewing time was passed so they won’t offer a refund. They supposedly “escalated” my case but received an automated response in about 30 seconds saying they were not going to do anything about it. I called back and was told the experience at the theater isn’t their problem. If you can’t stand behind your business model then you should stop selling tickets to places you can’t guarantee.

Horrible company do not waste your money with them. They will steal it and have no conscience. They are only in it for your money not your satisfaction. Customer service is horrible and The owner is a horrible human being find your entertainment somewhere else! Trust me!

Well I did not read the reviews and I too was scammed I got sick and yep they said no refunds. I have proceeded to file a compliant with Paypal and the Better Business Bureau. I just wanted another showing of the movie I could not leave the toilet bowl to see...
