I have had several issues over my experience with this program since it was called VUDU. It has terrible buffering issues even when you are using gigabyte internet speeds (I have had my singal/speed tested during some of these buffering issues). But the on top of that, they charged me twice for a Despicable Me bundle that I had purchased. When I asked a refund for one of the purchases, they admitted that they had a glitch in their system but claimed I was never charged the first time. I sent them screen shots of my charge account to prove that it had occurred, and I habe not received a response from them since. I STILL have not received a refund. My recommendation, use a credit card to pay for any of the movies that you pur hase here so that you can dispute the charges when they pull stunts like this.

since voodoo became fandango at home. I have had nothing but problems trying to stream my movies. The latest one tells me that there’s an error and I’m in the middle of a movie and it won’t play. They call it a playback error. If you’ve not used fandango at Home, I recommend you avoid it.

recently bought two movies for $5.99, got an email today stating that We were unable to process one or more recent orders made on your Roku device with your Fandango at Home credit card on file. Your account has not been charged for these order(s) and we have removed them from your library. The rest of your library remains available here. My credit card is still good. Offered 10% off if I re-buy, check of titles show price increase - sounds VERY suspicious

I do not recommend the reward membership fan club. We’ve lost tickets multiple times because once you apply your reward to a movie, no changes are allowed. They also make it super complicated to retrieve any bonus rewards. We won’t be renewing our membership. We will use our theater’s program instead.

Fandango is another example of increasingly poor customer experiences associated with longstanding web based services. I bought $92 worth of movie tickets, selecting tomorrow 25th January and the program erroneously selected tonight 24th January for a show that started before I even bought the tickets!! Then they won't even allow me to exchange the tickets (which is what I wanted; I did NOT want a refund) and they say I will have to wait and discuss with a manager, ~5 days from now! I can understand not refunding tickets but not allowing exchanges for another date?

the app wont let you use any fandango credits, making it appear like you don't have any way to get that money back. however i was able to use my credit by loggin in on my laptop to buy tickets. its a very bad app.

When Fandango works, it's fine. When there's a problem, there's absolutely no support. You can send an email and wait 72 hours for a response, or you can try to wait for a response through the chat, which can take forever. I'd rather sit at home and watch a movie on tv.

Purchasing tickets on your phone is handy, but if anything goes wrong, Fandango's customer service is terrible. Many theaters offer their own tickets online so You may want to look at using this service rather than Fandango!
