Hi JC, We request a credit card at the point at which our users sign a legally binding settlement agreement. At that time you can also choose to defer payment for 30 days, as you mention. We want to make sure those agreements are followed -- and if they're not you can let our support team know from our FairShake dashboard so that they can suggest next steps. MK

Hi Barbara, Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your experience. FairShake only requests a credit card at the point at which our users sign a legally binding settlement agreement. At that time you can also choose to defer payment for 30 days. If you see an unexpected charge you can refer to your claim dashboard for whether it has been 30 days since you deferred payment. However, if you believe you were improperly charged you can chat with our support team from your dashboard. And if you haven't received the settlement based on the agreement you signed with a company, please also let our team know. MK

Hi Judy, Sorry to hear you're not happy to pay for our services. It sounds like you were offered a settlement agreement from T-Mobile. We do ask for payment at that point, although you can defer the charge for 30 days (or more, if the company doesn't complete the settlement by then).
