Pretty sure they didn’t actually do anything. They said they got a statement from sprint but that never showed once I talked to someone that was actually from sprints company to get it resolved. Best way to get things settled with T-Mobile and Sprint is to file a complaint with FCC don’t waste ur money on this. I only paid for this bc I was desperate to get a settlement with sprint/T-Mobile but I’m pretty sure these guys are just scammers.

Hello,
All your communications with the company, including a signed legal document, are available from your FairShake dashboard. We only charge when you accept that settlement offer, which is binding on the company.
Because these companies are big, sometimes calling one department (like customer service) will mean they aren't yet aware of something carried out by another department (like their legal department). But if a settlement isn't followed you should return to our FairShake dashboard after 60 days and alert our team. You can also make sure you've followed any conditions on you in the settlement you signed, like returning equipment or completing additional forms.

A Waste of Time and Money
I contacted Fairshake regarding abusive billing by Optimun Cable. They promised 1 gig of Internet for an additional $20 month, but my bill exploded. It went up an additional $142.00! I contacted Fairshake and they got me discounts for the next 12 months. These are useless to me because I cancelled Optimun effective today. In effect, this was money lost on top of the money Optimum is sucking off me. I wont be using this again or referring you to anyone else.

Hi Manny. Sorry to hear that you accepted a settlement that you weren't ultimately satisfied with.
If what you received was account credit then a lot of companies will convert that to cash (see here: https://fairshake.com/phone-company-refund-policies-account-credit-to-cash/).
For discounts that's a bit of a different story. Your FairShake fee would typically be $20 for the work FairShake did on your claim. (That's the minimum we can charge for our service to make financial sense). If you were charged more than that please email [email protected] and we can adjust it.

Hi Rodney,
We take all feedback seriously including yours.
Unfortunately like many online services we aren't able to provide phone support. This keeps our prices low so that we can provide the sort of services that mostly don't exist within the legal system due to cost.

Its Not Free they CHARGE you for Filing Paperwork!
in Reply to Max w/ Fairshake - 20% for filing paperwork is what your referring to as "facilitate" which is run more smoothly, easier. Any consumer could file their own paperwork in Small Claims and get the same results. The Respondent was Sprint, and it was just shy of Arbitration, when I chose to elaborate with more detail of what transpired. Only then did I get an offer that appeared fair and without prejudice. Once the claim reaches level of Arbitration, Fairshake offers no legal support or guidance regarding what to expect or actions necessary going forward. I believe this is an important detail for future Fairshake clientele. Please advise on what actions if any does Fairshake take to work harder than they have already taken when filing claim?
Sprint has closed over 7000 claims with the last 12 months by responding to customer complaints. They were very fair once I elaborated on what I originally stated when making claim. This is also very important to know when the initial claim is made. I disagree on the bad luck, there is either win or lose, either you prove your case or you dont. Having documentation to back up your allegation's is very helpful in making a solid case. Fairshake had no involvement in my procuring backup. I still believe that 20% for filing paperwork is quite steep.
Im sure this response from Fairshake will be a positive for your future customers .
Honestly, I have no idea whether the reviews before mine are true. I discovered Fairshake somehow on the internet, and its true they did assist me in getting Sprint/T-mobile to take notice of my concern's. It is basically the same if you filed in small claims court and sued the company yourself. Please know what your doing prior to partnering up with them. They charge 20% of any cash or credit you get from whatever company your filing against and 10% of any amount deducted from what you owe the company. in addition, to a $20 minimum charge.
Fairshake simply filed the paperwork to make claim against the company, However they ONLY file claim for you. You are ON YOUR OWN after that. If your claim goes to Arbitration, you better have your ducks in a row and know what your doing. They DO NOT hold your hand through the process. You fight YOUR fight ALONE, they are not Lawyers, they seem to be Paper Pushers!

Hello Wendie,
We're sorry to hear that you have had a frustrating experience.
Our goal is always to see a customer negotiate a successful resolution with as little hassle as possible. We facilitate hundreds of settlements each month, including with T-Mobile. But not every claim that we send gets the same treatment.
In your case, it sounds like the company did not choose to make a settlement offer prior to your claim being eligible for arbitration. To some degree this is a matter of bad luck: we saw a period late last year where that company was responding to very few incoming claims and allowing a lot to proceed to arbitration.
As we note on our website when a customer signs up, if a claim is escalated to arbitration there will be actions required of the individual. But we don't want it to reach that point and we work as hard as we can to get claims resolved successful.
I hope you'll receive a successful settlement offer from T-Mobile.

Confused and impatiently waiting.
At first I was extremely happy FairShake handled the issue so well. However, I have not received funds. Unsure why it is taking this long. I will rate you once we receive the funds.

Hi Kevin,
A FairShake team member has been or will be reaching out to you on this to make sure your settlement -- there are a few reasons settlements can take time to arrive, such as when paperwork sent by a company hasn't been completed or when the company is delinquent on actually making the payment.
If you haven't heard from our team, please email [email protected] or feel free to reply to me here.

Ended up doing the work myself
I had a claim against PayPal, andI did not feel FairShake's role in resolving the matter was beneficial. The response from FairShake was that I would not be successful with my claim even though PayPal had settled my claim a day before FairShake sent out the communication. Based on my conversation with my FairShake specialist, it did not seem that the communication to PayPal was updated to reflect the settlement, and the communication, in general, was not very informative. I had kept the claim open to make sure PayPal closed the claim with the collections company. I was able to call the collections company on my own, and they had confirmed that PayPal had canceled the collection claim. In the end, I ended up getting the claim resolved and verifying that PayPal removed the collections request.
Response from FairShake Inc.Nov 9, 2020
Hi MS,
I'm glad to hear that your issue with PayPal was resolved successfully.
We're not part of the company your claim is against, so we rely on them to keep us updated on the status of a claim. We often see with PayPal is that they resolve a claim after receiving claim documents from FairShake, but don't fulfill their obligation to let us know about it directly.
We're working on how to address that situation and how better communicate that to our customers, and will take your feedback into account.
