I walked in. I had an appt. I had never been there before. They told me to sit down and they would be right with me. 35 min later asked me if I had checked in. Apparently you have to go to the back to check in. I went back and nobody around at the window. By then it had been almost an hour. I walked out. The service was terrible.

In customer service you don’t cut people off
Hi myself personally working customer service if I called your facility and get on the phone and I hear a bunch of muffling and moving around I find that quite disrespectful now I don’t appreciate when I was asking my question that the customer service agent just cut me off and said no we don’t like that Medicaid I like to meet her and I’m not sure whatever customer service so should I was but you guys need to reevaluate your customer service I don’t appreciate being cut off that is one thing that pisses me off correct your customer service

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
If your serious about your eyesight, and want what you pay for, Do Not Go Here. In a nut shell, after numerous attempts they could not get my prescription correct. They forgot to put my transitions on my glasses, and the eyeglass cases were not the right fit for the glasses. They get offended quickly when your telling them that the prescription is not right. The male optometrist......I don't even know why he's there. They are just in it for the money. I'm never going back there, and every person I can tell, I'm going to tell them not to go there, or they will regret it

When you spend a few hundred dollars on 3 pair of glasses, ya kinda expect to be able to see out of them. I knew they weren't right when I picked them up, but the girl told me to "wear them over the weekend to see if you get used to them," but I couldn't take them back because the store closed soon afterward due to COVID. I later took them to my new eye doctor (because they have an in-house optical shop) and the optician told me the measurements for pupillary distance were wrong and the prescription was wrong. Would NOT recommend.

My wife went to buy some glasses
My wife went to buy some glasses, they made her choose and try on some and the problem arose when she paid them, they did not answer her in the insurance for 10 minutes, I spoke directly with the insurance company and they asked me for the number of the store and spoke with someone from the store, there should be no problem with the lens coverage but the person who was attending to my wife did not want to help her anymore, said that she had already lost a lot of time and that she had to attend to other customers , my wife left the store without glasses. How sad to have people who do not know how to serve customers with ease, if they already know how insurance works, they should be more understanding and passive.

First time is the last time.
I have a lot to say, I’ll start out by saying I don’t have an Eyemart express in my city but I have them in two neighboring cities, so I picked the city I had been to the most and called them and they said they’d love to see me, but they’ve been having equipment trouble in the lens lab and can’t guarantee the glasses to be done within that day. I would have to just take a chance. I decided to go because I needed them for the upcoming Easter service which is more than a week away. Just getting a little out of town I thought, why don’t I try the other cities’ Eyemart express? so I stopped at a rest stop and I called them and they said sure come on over and we’ll get them done for you today! So I turned around drove all the way back through my city and over to the other city. Because I really didn’t want to have to make two trips and I would really like to have these done today so I get there and sign in and everybody seemed very nice and the first thing that was “off” with the girl that helped me, was when she called my name she just barely spoke it and I didn’t hear her and they were about ready to mark me off the list when I found out from another patron that she said my name, she said it very softly and no one could hear their names being called by this particular girl. So we sat down and discussed what I wanted I told her I had a prescription for BIFOCALS. We talked about what else I wanted the types of lenses and the specials that were offered and not once did she discuss progressive lenses and the difference between bifocals and progressive lenses and the prices of the two. And the word I said to her was bifocals and that’s what I thought I was getting when I came back to get the glasses when they were ready and it didn’t dawn on me earlier about the amount until I looked at it again but this is my first experience with this place, so when I tried the glasses on I looked for the line in the glasses and I didn’t see a line for the bifocals and I told the girl that it just felt weird when I looked through them and she looked at me really funny like I was crazy. But what it was, was the fact that there was no line like I had been used to in the past. So I mentioned to her that the girl that waited on me never talked to me about progressive lenses yet I paid for progressive lenses but I did not want progressive lenses. and during the time while talking to her, she got a phone call from another client and began to get very annoyed with this person over the phone and visibly showed her frustration with the client on the phone in front of me.
Now back to me- she was asking me what did I want to happen with this? I said I don’t know and she said well we can take the glasses and redo them and you can come back and I said “I’m sorry, I am not driving home and then driving back to get them, I drove all the way over here I’m tired I am in a lot of pain and I’m not gonna do this because of something that was your fault”. She said “well you can wait for it to be done” and I asked how long? And she said probably until 6:30 tonight and it was just shortly afternoon and I said no that’s not gonna work either because I had to be home. And I said “still, this is not anything that I did, this is your workers mistake, not mine” and she said “I understand that, what do you want me to do?” and I said “I think you need to refund the cost of the progressive lenses,” and she got very annoyed visibly she said “oh, noooo, my boss won’t let me do that!” She didn’t even check with her boss, hand I said “well that’s what I think would be fair, since it was not my fault, she didn’t ask me what I wanted, and I did say the word ‘bifocals’.” So she walked away into another room with a couple other staff members I heard a lot of whispering she came back and she asked me for my credit card I gave it to her and she refunded me the price of the progressive lenses and I said “thank you so much I really appreciate this” and she just kept looking down at the counter, and went “mmm, hmmm” in a short, curt tone. We finished with everything, her conversation was now very minimal, body language was very different, and it just felt like she couldn’t wait to get me out of the store so she could voice her frustration of me with her co-workers. I thanked her again, was very nice and told her to have a nice day.
I don’t feel bad at all, if the girl that waited on me, did her job correctly, this NEVER would have happened. I hope she learns from this, but I have my doubts. Things started out really good. But I won’t be going back. Not to that location anyway.

Waited for almost 30 min with no one else in store!
I got a message my glasses were ready. I went in with my 3 yr old, autistic grandson. Because of Covid I had to sit in a chair to wait with a wiggly child on my lap. The lady that asked me to sit down went behind the counter, cleaned it and put boxes in a cupboard for over 25 min while I sat there desperately trying to entertain a squirmy, anxious 3 yr old. She served no on else during this time. Finally she called me up, pulled out my glasses and handed them to me. ???? Why didn't she do that first? Why did she make my grandson suffer through that long wait? There was absolutely no reason for it. I have never seen such bad customer service. I had figured that my glasses weren't ready yet and I was waiting for them to get done, but no, they were sitting there the whole time. After all that I couldn't see clearly with the new glasses but I just took them and let. I wasn't going to spend another minute there. I guess you get what you pay for.
