International shipping was not handled by seller and left for DHL when there were problems. I bought a Dolomiti RC4S and the frame is wider than the free case it came in, so the temple jutted out and got a minor scratch.

Michelle handled the issue with my order in a professional and personal way. However, I paid online for 1 day delivery only to learn 3 days after it was to arrive that my frames had been shipped to eyeglasses.com where they discovered they were the wrong color. Eyes then had reordered and was waiting in the correct frames to ship to me. They sent no notice that there would be a delay of my "1-day delivery" that I had been watching anxiously for. So, I dug through paperwork to find a phone number to inquire-in case someone had picked them up from my porch during the several days I had expected them. Michelle had a quick, friendly answer and assure my that they would arrive soon- a week or more after my order was placed. When they arrived, I rushed the new frames and my old glasses that I " glue-gunned" ever other day to the optical shop. There they quickly discovered that they were the right glasses but wrong size. I don't recall anywhere on the site that I had more information to enter. Again, Michele helped me with info on how to mail back the frames for a refund and, at my choice, pay for the right size to be delivered soon. I probably would inquired from the optical shop where they were purchased had I known they weren't in stock at Eyeglasses and it wasn't possible for the next day delivery, as contracted. When they arrive in a couple of days, I'll make a second trip to the optical shop to have the lenses moved. I have VERY poor vision and sending my almost new lenses away wasn't an option. Thanks for listening. Suggestion- Eyeglasses has customer contact info- offer some updates in these situations to assure you customers that this is a reliable business, you're making your best effort and give some info on revised a delivery date. It's easier to wait knowing you are making your best effort. Also, don't take orders for one day delivery on products you can't fulfill.

Only wanted to purchase frames and paid for expedition, after several calls and being told they were in the lab for days, someone finally understood we only wanted the frames. And why didn’t they refund my shipping and apologize for the frustrating confusion, we will never know. On the flip side, the frames are of the best craftsmanship.

The price was good and my order came proper. However, an e-mail communication was aweful. There were several e-mails where I would ask very direct question and would get no answer. For example, I was told that with the frame that I ordered (a rimless one ), I could combine temples and lens' shape.I e-mailed to confirm that a certain lens shape can be combined with certain temples. Twice. No answer. If they'd made a mistake, it would have been a costly one for both of us. Plus, I do not have time to send orders back and forth. There were several similar (non-) communications That is why 3 stars

No indication that frames were not in stock until after you paid. Then you get a gorgeous email stating they had to be ordered from the manufacturer in Italy which might take 2 weeks Lesson learned.

In the beginning, the service was great and the prices reasonable. Over time these have moved in opposite directions. These things come to mind: 1. I've had 2 or 3 pairs where the lens was ill fitted and the corner screws fell out. 2. Order/delivery time seems to have stretched out, although I don't have specifics. 3. Pricing now is such that I can walk into a local outlet with similar prices. Local service and adjustments are important. Most of the local places don't want to service what they didn't sell. 4. Recently I placed a small order - a few nose pads - which was a fiasco. First the person tried to talk me out of the order- "see your local outlet." Next she told me it was $10 and we confirmed card number. Next I get an invoice confirming $10. Next I get a request for payment. I call and she says it's not paid. And she says it's $15. She agreed to reduce to $10 and we reconfirmed the card. Next,I received the product and with it is an invoice for $15. An online review of my charge card reveals no charges. In retrospect it is possible that you have an expired card on file. If so that should have come up in our several communications. I've put the invoice in for payment.

The website has some challenges. As you click on a picture the item doesn’t change therefore I received the wrong item. I sent in an email asking for assistance and never heard back.
