I wanted a special old fashion design frame. They had an overseas supplier who had them. It took a couple of weeks, but I have what I want.

The experience was pleasant enough but it took forever to receive them

I've gotten many frames from eyeglasses.com. I love that they always let you exchange with no hassle. I have a problem finding glasses because I have a biggish face and although men's glasses (I'm a woman) fit me better, the styles are usually too mannish for my face which is oval and not ...well you know like a cute pixy face, a little too jowly. So the women's styles are usually too small and the men's are not feminine enough. Also I work in a factory which is hot in the spring and summer and my glasses wind up sliding down my nose. EG.com had a nice round (fun) style that had those temple pieces that wrap around your ears, thus making it almost impossible for them to slide down. VG. My only problem was that when I got the lens areas big enough to suit my face the temple pieces were way too long. I emailed them and asked if I could pay a custom fee for shorter temples with the larger lens area that I needed and no one ever replied. It's ok though. I can probably re-bend and clip the temple pieces so that they'll be short enough. I haven't gotten them lensed up yet. Sorry, I'm a little long winded here but to be honest and give you the real deal.

The frames are great, after some frames were out of stock, the team there stepped up to find my some owesome options.

Eyeglasses.com did a good job in making and shipping my order, I would definitely use them again. The one thing I would improve upon is feedback, as I really did not know where my order was in the process for several days, until it shipped. I think I'm spoiled by the likes of Amazon and others who shower customers with information every step of the way. It's likely a bit difficult for a smaller operation that uses an outside lab to build the product, but abundant information has become the standard in online ordering. Good product, great website, a little light on visibility.

I ordered sunglasses clips. Waited several weeks and heard nothing. Then a charge appeared on my credit card. Luckily, the clips arrived a week later. Better communication would be a plus.

I waited until the last minute to order glasses over Christmas holiday as my 1 year roll over date was 12-31. I did have to maneuver through the process by myself as the office was closed for the holidays but all in all the process wasn't too difficult after a bit of research. The glasses are really well priced and they gave me a second set of lenses for free. Vey happy with the price and product.
