Great service and exactly what I had expected. It is hard to find plain readers and they were able to give me a great designer brand at a phenomenal price. I would definitely use them again on my next pair of reading glasses.

I think what makes me a good candidate for Eyeglasses.com is that I've been wearing glasses full-time for many years, know exactly what type of frames I want without having to try them on, and what lens options I need, and have a highly reliable source for my prescriptions. In other words, I really don't need the kinds of services you get at an optometrist's or in-person eyewear shop. I wouldn't say Eyeglasses.com is any cheaper or a better value, just convenient for people like me who don't need or want to get my vision tested, try things on first, get personalized advice, or have adjustments made. You may say that's just stating the obvious, but a lot of the negative comments I'm seeing here are from people who would probably have been better off getting their glasses from their local eye doctor or shop.

I brought in my own new Carrerra lightweight frames that I got on sale elsewhere for $39 to have single vision lenses for computer and phone use put in. Service was quick and I received my new glasses in the mail well within 2 weeks. Since I work close to their Westport location, was able to bring them in for very slight adjustments to the bridge. The glasses are so perfect that I forget that I have them on! Plus the total cost for the frames and lenses was very competitive and lower priced than Costco! Chalk that up to the $39 for my new frames. I'm looking for an old pair of glasses that I loved but put in storage because my prescription changed - I'll definitely dig them up and update the lenses through eyeglasses.com.

I love my new glasses and they were over 50% less than the price it would have been if I ordered at my eye doctors office. I actually ordered the incorrect pattern on my style but I love the ones I ended up with! Because they were such a great price, I will order another pair in the same style but the pattern I wanted initially. I love that I can actually afford to have multiple pairs of eye glasses.
