A generational challenge. I've worn Art Craft rimway specs for decades. The last two refills were ordered grudgingly by my health plan's optical department and this time they refused. Way too old fashioned and presumably too delicate for today's life styles. Eyeglasses.com made it easy to order the correct size and the frames arrived quickly. The only challenge with these rims is their tendency to create starburst fractures at the screw sites with thin lenses. The optician recommended Trivex lenses last time and these have lasted 6 years without cracking. They used the same material in my new pair and I expect the same performance. Two gentlemen have stopped me on the street to find out where I obtained the Art Craft frames having faced the same obstacles with their providers. Naturally I recommended Eyeglasses.com
