Ordered some new glasses through the West Hartford store. The glasses came on time in mail and one eye did not focus. I called the customer service was told that it was something wrong with my prescription and need to go back to my optometrist, even though the prescription is only 4 months old. I made another appointment (had to pay again) only to be told that the prescription is all right. I was also told by the customer service that my eye needs to adjust to the new glasses, but after trying these glasses a few more times my eyes just can't readjust. Decided to have the exact same glasses (same frame and lenses) made by a different store and the lenses fit perfectly--so it's not a problem with my prescriptions or my eyes. After returning these glasses, I got only 50% for the lenses--and this is after calling the customer service, since the refund wasn't issued for over 20 days after they received the glasses, and I was never contacted about the return. Poor quality in both the product and customer service.

Misleading “free home try on.” You have to buy the frames and then return them. If you don’t live near a store, you have to pay for shipping for the returns if you aren’t getting prescription lenses placed. Also it takes extremely long just to get the frames themselves. They don’t send all the frames at once; still waiting for my other two pair and it’s been now over two weeks. Unless you actually know which specific glasses you’re purchasing then I don’t think it’s worth all this hassle to buy from them.

Takes quite a while to receive order, no clear communication as to when to expect it . Staff didn't appear to have a good idea when glasses would be available to ship. Still haven't received part of my order.

Unable to read out of my prescription, progressive lens sunglasses. Had to email 3 times before I could get a response on how to deal with this. The email they finally responded to said to just send them back with my prescription(which they already have on file). No return authorization number or anything. Never will use again.

Ordered on a Thursday for next day and didn’t get the glasses until the next Wed.

If you are unhappy with the frames you purchased, you should not have to pay to postage to return them.

keep trying to reach out to someone to let them know i'm having issues with my eyeglasses..I have emailed and phoned a few times and was told the supervisor would call me back .. It's been days and if haven't heard from someone called Stephanie.

I ordered a pair of glasses, however I had gotten the wrong prescription from my past eye exam so I had to return them, which of course is not the fault of eyeglasses.com, however everything since that point has been pretty bad. I followed the return instructions exactly, and was notified by the shipping service that my return had been delivered and signed for. I never received and email or phone call from eyeglasses.com about the return. So I sent an email inquiring about the return and wondering if they received it or if I needed to follow up. I never got a reply. So I called. I got ahold of a customer service rep and started to explain the situation, but before I even finished explaining she cut me off and asked for the order number. So I gave it to her and she hurriedly told me to send an email with the proof of delivery and she would get it taken care of. I sent multiple emails just in case. It's been a week now and I still have not received a reply. So basically I have tried to make a return and have gotten zero correspondence from the company. Now I'm out over $200. Not cool.
