This is a very reliable company to deal with. I sent my frames and prescription to them with their on-line form. Randy called me and spent a great deal of time helping me make the correct choices. The reasonable prices enabled me to load my glasses with all the features my doctor recommended. It's always scary to order something as important as glasses on line, but you can trust this company. I did and received perfect glasses...twice!

Staff was very helpful with several issues. First, I changed a portion of my online order by phone and when I received my glasses, all was as requested. Next, the USPS failed to deliver my frames within business hours and EyeglassDirect tracked them down and picked them up.

I needed repair to my glasses. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. Thanks.

Tremendous value, especially if you buy a second pair, as I did, getting a nice pair of sunglasses for about $80. My primary pair, super light-weight titanium, bifocals, Varilux, were about one third of what my optician had quoted me. I feel a bit stingy about not giving them 5 stars but there were a couple of disappointments. Firstly larger lens sizes are not available. I would have ordered a larger lens if it had been available. Secondly I need longer than usual sides and when requested over the phone was told in unspecific terms that the sides would be longer, but they came with just the flimsy plastic cushion at the end extended beyond the metal in an unsatisfactorily way. They are not long enough to hook around my ears so if I look down they are liable to fall off my face. Another matter that really is not their fault is that Varilux does not work in most cars since it darkens when exposed to UV rays and most cars have UV screening on their windows and windshield. They would do well to mention this under their Varilux offering. Delivery was fast and so all in all I was pleased and would recommend them.

I've purchased multiple sets previously with positive experience. I bought a pair of sunglasses that between 1-2 years began to substantially fade on perimeter of lenses. The tinting was poorly applied or material used was bad. I contacted for warranty service. I understand stated warranty is 1 year. However, would have expected customer service to acknowledge material or workmanship (application) were defective and stand by product. I sent photos and multiple exchanges with customer service and warranty was declined.
