I originally purchased a pair of prescription reading glasses at Costco, but after they suffered some accidential damage decided to get a backup pair. The price at Costco was high enough that I wanted to explore other options. I found Eyeglassdirect online and decided to give them a try. I received a better pair of glasses (flexible frames, antiglare coating) for about $50 less than what I paid at Costco. The glasses seem to be comparable in quality in every respect.

Discussed by telephone before placing order. Brian was quite helpful and knowledgeable. I had not ordered glasses over the internet, but decided to go for it. Everything was just as represented. Mailed my glasses to them. The glasses were returned with new lens just as they said they would. Saved over $200 compared to my optomerist with vision insurance.

Very friendly and personalized service. I wanted glass lenses and had to call to order. The man I spoke with was very knowledgeable and patient and even offered to customize one of the measurements. Very timely. I will order from here again.

Second time using this site and I am very happy with the service. Ordered on a Saturday afternoon and got my glasses on Wednesday (paid for overnight shipping total was less than $65.00 and that was with shipping). No need for insurance, just a valid prescription and credit card. I would continue to use them for my eyewear needs.
