I had a very serious and frustrating…
I had a very serious and frustrating experience with this hosting provider. At my first purchase, the VPS I paid for was not delivered. Because of this, I contacted support and also tried to report the missing transaction. However, I could not properly report it at first since I needed access to the account system, so I ended up purchasing another VPS just to gain access and continue resolving the issue. After gaining access, I started migrating my game panel and client database to a working VPS (hosted at another provider, Extravm), while also reporting the original failed transaction for investigation and refund. Instead of refunding the first failed transaction (which was the actual problem), they mistakenly refunded the second successful purchase. Shortly after this confusion, my account was closed and one of my VPS instances was deleted. That VPS contained critical production data, including a database used for over 300 active client servers. This caused severe disruption to my services and clients. To this day, there has been no proper resolution, no recovery of data, and no clear explanation addressing the incorrect refund or the sudden account termination. This situation has caused serious operational damage, and the handling of the issue has been extremely concerning for a service that is meant to be reliable hosting infrastructure. -------------------------------------------- Follow-up: I would like to clarify the situation regarding the terminated VPS and the related billing concerns. Before the cancellation occurred, I had already begun migrating my data and configuration related to my Pterodactyl panel and hosting setup onto the server. This included server files and credentials used for my environment. During this migration process, the VPS was terminated, which resulted in interruption and loss of access to data that was still in transition and not fully completed. Additionally, I want to clarify my concern regarding the payment process. I had multiple transaction attempts during checkout, and from my perspective, there was a duplicate charge attempt that did not result in a delivered or active service instance. One of the transactions was successful, while the other appeared to have been processed from my bank side but did not correspond to an additional VPS delivery. I understand your explanation regarding the payment status and the decision made based on your policies. However, from my perspective, the timing of the termination and the payment handling created unexpected disruption to an ongoing migration process rather than a fully inactive or unused server. I am not disputing your payment processing explanation, but I am requesting clarification and reconsideration regarding both the impact on my active data migration and the duplicate transaction concern. If there is any possibility of retrieving snapshots, backups, or residual data from the instance, I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you for your time.

Hello, I'm sorry you feel this way. As stated multiple times in the support request you opened, you had four payment attempts. One was declined by your prepaid card issuer with "DO_NOT_HONOR" code. Two other payment attempts were not completed, which I explained could be due to your web browser blocking scripts on the page that the payment processor uses, or due to the page being closed or refreshed before the payment completes. Your fourth payment was successful and your server was activated instantly. The first support response to your support ticket explained this, and I did state that the incomplete payment attempts "The transactions will only show as PENDING on your bank statement and will disappear in 24-48 hours." You seemed to believe we were, for some reason, lying to you to steal your money. I replied again stating the same thing, that the pending transactions/pre-authorizations would disappear within 24-48 hours. You then started spamming support ticket replies with screenshots of your card statement/account and continued to ignore us. Due to the support ticket spam and the fact you were ignoring our comments about why this happened and how the payments were not successful and would not post to your card account, it was deemed that you would not be happy with our service so your order from a few hours prior was cancelled and refunded in full. You are lying about the server having production data for 300 clients that was lost. Your server was ordered a few hours prior, and it would be incredibly dangerous for you to immediately run production services, while making complaints to the company and claiming they are lying to you, and not having a backup of the data before you uploaded it to the server. I also checked your companies control panel and it is online right now and working fine, making your claims blatantly false. Separately, it is technically impossible to host 300 clients for game servers on the server plan you ordered with us. You also mention "To this day there has been no resolution" - once again you're trying to prop up your claims, this happened over a few hours, with the replies to you happening over 20 minutes this morning. Since you operate a hosting company yourself, SereinHost, you should know how to handle these situations properly, and conduct proper communication. Hopefully you are able to find a hosting partner who can cater to your needs in the future.
