I always try to get the best bang for buck, hosting is no different. Naturally, I'd kept service hopping until finding ExtraVM from personal reviews online. As you can see with the 5-stars, I thought putting this out there could help others. My personal experience after comparing and contrasting features from different hosts that are very similar in price and features. ExtraVM is uses the OVH network - also the shared space plans are very similar almost to the T, but the variation was minor enough to ignore. Having all services in one place is a value in itself. I love the fact that ExtraVM makes my pages faster at no additional effort with the shared hosting among the many additional features. For small to medium business operations, email service is usable as you can easily keep below the 10-30Gb total space limits per plan. Their anti-spam features are very effective from my personal experience. For serious newsletters I would probably use a 3rd party depending on the size of recipients. For Minecraft hosting, the equipment is top notch. No complaints there, I legitimately felt like the server was my own even though I knew it was shared resources. Support did their best to assist in giving general advice on specific mods & helped me setup server debugging stuff as well - how cool! I can tell Mike cares about the work. I also feel that the responses are pretty quick - it's hard to say because I would say it depends on how busy the day is. I could get an instant response or it can take 2-3 hours. I don't think I've ever put in a ticket with high importance, always low or medium as a reference. You get what you pay for though - there's no fancy patented web-builder that will blah blah blah or a phone number to breathe at someone about something so mundane. I don't need to buy a domain from my web host either as there's already so many hosts. It does come with Softlicious that can help you setup sites like WordPress or if you are into site builders one of the many available, just requires DIY. Being able to self-manage your services is important otherwise you'll probably want to stick with the more expensive hosts. Anyway, I'm mainly satisfied due to the honesty of the support. When initially starting out at ExtraVM I had initially purchased a VPS for Minecraft server but was recommended a shared Minecraft instance instead as it'd be cheaper & I wasn't really hosting anything extra. You know what you're getting, it's all there. Let's be real, nobody talks about who their favorite web host provider is, but if I could recommend ExtraVM to friends and family I would. Lol

I got a modded minecraft server with this company. Awesome prices, and literally the best service anyone could ask for. I asked for a modpack that wasnt on their list and within 5 minutes it was installed and running on my server. Highly recommend.

With kvm virtualizzation the hardware is guaranteed, the antiddos is superb and i never had a problem so i didn't needed to contact the assistance. 10/10
