The rewards are the same price as the product. Still can’t tap for payment.
Response from Extra CardJan 20, 2023
Hey, Marge! Our rewards points are an added benefit to the credit building services we offer all of our members. While we are currently not tap enabled, you can add your Extra Card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for contactless payments! Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any account related inquiries.

Had extra card for 2 years and has absolutely not benefited my credit score.

Extra reports the total amount spent each month to Experian and Equifax. Depending on where you’re checking, this is not always visible on your end. It is all accounted for in our reporting, but we do not define where or how the Credit Reporting Agencies list or categorize our activities on their proprietary websites. Please email us at [email protected] and one of our specialists will look into your account!

The app is too complicated to use, they block the card a lot, to dispute a transaction they take about 20 or 30 days to fix it.
Response from Extra CardJan 19, 2023
Hey Oscar! We apologize for any frustration this may have caused. To provide some clarity, the Extra Card functions on an automatic daily payback structure—in the event a repayment fails, it will result in an account lock. We are happy to look into your account, and answer any questions about how our product works, please contact [email protected] and a specialist will assist!

Extra currently reports to Experian and Equifax! We are in communication with TransUnion, but there's no timeline on when they'll add us to their reporting matrix.

Extra has actually lowered my credit score because of an error in reporting that they admitted and my credit has not recovered from it in 7 months.
