So far my experience with Extra has been exceptional. The application process was easy and quick, the app is intuitive, and best of all I'm building credit for the first time without any sketchy credit card fees or complicated rules. The customer service team is always available and very knowledgeable, and I use my Extra card for almost everything. It's also really nice to have a card that's connected to my bank account but has a delay - gives me peace of mind knowing that I can check my balance and my purchases once or twice a day and if I see anything suspicious I can immediately turn the card off before the charge goes through. Highly recommend Extra for those who are looking to build credit for the first time!

I like the fact you can spend like a debit card but it builds your credit. Yes, there’s a fee associated with it, but it’s better than a 25% APR interest credit card that’s hard to pay off.

Very easy to use. Started with 540 credit score. After about a year my credit is over 670 and climbing. This is a great service when used with other responsible credit building methods.
