No gift cards 🙃🙃
So when I first joined extra, I did it for 2 reasons. Yeah boosting my credit score is nice, but the real reason I'm paying $12 a month for this is because you can redeem your EXTRA points for actual gift cards. So if you earn $25 worth of points in the month, you just made $12 profit. At least that's how it used to work. I've been promised for months that the gift cards would be back, but nothing yet

Since removing gift cards from the store, we’ve received substantial feedback from members on what a huge value add this was for them, and for that reason the team is looking into the reintroduction of gift cards—we're unable to give a timeline at the moment, but we'll let you know when we have them available again!

Terrible Customer Serv Follow Up
Have never been able to get a clear answer on the points redemption I have accrued? I have been told multiple times that It can't be mailed, etc..etc...

Credit reporting
I haven't seen a reflection of this card on my credit. It has been sending emails that it has been reported to the credit bureau, however I haven't seen it.

Extra reports the total amount spent each month to Experian and Equifax. Depending on where you’re checking, this is not always visible on your end. It is all accounted for in our reporting, but we do not define where or how the Credit Reporting Agencies list or categorize our activities on their proprietary websites. Overall experience
Overall experience The folks providing the service, the concierge team members themselves, are doing amazing! They always answer questions fully and go even deeper into problems to find the best possible solutions. The app itself however, and the security behind it, aren't doing so hot. Many who I've talked with, myself included, who use the card experience false security claims at least a couple times a month. Stating there are insufficient funds or unable to process the chargeback or incapability with an account even though there is no issue outside of extra.. Some things need to be adjusted from the inside to help customers.

Everyday I open the app
Everyday I open the app, it never shows balance or kicks me out . Longer time updating balances. Very slow

It looks like you are on the most up-to-date version of our app, but your connected bank account is experiencing stale plaid updates. We do have an exciting new feature coming very soon that will allow you to update your balance from within the app! The first problem had to do with the app
The first problem had to do with them changing the app and now it does not work on my phone and I would have to upgrade to be able to use it. The second issue was my card was stolen and while I got the replacement card there was a glitch in the app and I couldn't get it activated this took over 2 months to straighten out. So far the overall experience has been miserable.
