Really bad customer service. Was quoted wrong prices, communication was slow to the point I’d have to email multiple times to get a response, then was sent product with missing hardware not even bringing up the lengthy delivery time. For the price, I expected much better customer support than I received

I received my order of shutters on 8-3-17. Unfortunately, the color of the shutters is considerably lighter than sample that was sent by the company. The primary reason I bought these shutters was because the color sample was a very dark green. We ordered Ebony Green, but the color is considerably lighter. The shutters are very shiny as well and not subdued like the sample is. There are light marks in the bends of the material on several of the shutters and they are unsightly. The shutters seem to mark up very easily. The material is very thin. Before I ordered these shutters I contacted customer service regarding the width of the shutter. I needed them to be exactly as described because I was replacing shutters of equal width and had concerns because of fading of the underlying siding. I was assured they were cut true to size. The shutters are not cut true to size. I contacted customer service and the were initially attentive. The representative indicated that she would contact the manufacturer. Apparently after speaking with the manufacture she was told that there were no changes to the formula for the color of the product. I pointed out that maybe there were changes made to the material used to make the shutters that could have caused a variance in the color. She had no answer for that. The representative did acknowledge that there was clearly a color difference after I had sent pictures of the product compared to the sample. The solution that they came up with was to send us new shutters. Unfortunately when I received the new shutters they were the same color. I would warn future customers that the color samples provided may not accurately represent the actual product Besides the color issues, there are some quality issues as well that add to my dissatisfaction in this product and I am disappointed that this purchase was not what I expected. I tried to post a review on their website, but apparently reviews have to be approved by them, which really defeats the idea behind reviews.
