I'm sorry this experience has left you feeling misled. That is never the outcome we want, and I understand how frustrating it is to face a repair bill you expected to be covered.
I also want to clarify autopom!’s role. autopom! is the seller and independent broker of the vehicle service contract. We are not the claims administrator, and we do not approve or deny claims. Claim decisions are made by the administrator according to the inspection findings and the terms of the agreement.
In this case, the administrator advised us that the repair shop’s inspection documented evidence of a coolant leak into the engine over an extended period, which led to overheating and the resulting engine damage. Based on those findings, the administrator determined that the condition, within reasonable mechanical probability, began before coverage started. The agreement covers eligible breakdowns that occur during the coverage period and after the waiting period has been completed.
The administrator cited the contract’s exclusion for damage caused by continued operation after an apparent problem exists, such as overheating, leaking fluids, warning lights, or similar symptoms, along with the pre-existing condition language in the agreement.
I know that explanation does not make the repair bill any easier. But I do want to be clear that this decision was based on the inspection findings and the contract terms provided at signing, not on rules added afterward.
We remain available to review the administrator’s explanation with you and help you understand the decision. Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss this further.

$3000 Policy for Nothing In Return
If you haven’t noticed the majority of reviews are from someone’s experience with actually purchasing a policy not with making a claim and using said policy. Take that into consideration as you read reviews on this company. Here’s my recent experience with Autopom when I finally needed to file a claim. Apparently everything is considered basic maintenance to them. It took them 2 days to respond on what would be covered on my vehicle to the repair shop. The answer, wait for it…(for 2 days)… Nothing!!!! Originally they said the repairs would most likely be covered however upon further reflection by them 2 days later they decided not to cover anything. I paid $3,000 for a policy with them, this was my first claim and NOTHING!!! This was for their NACC Advanced Enhanced policy!!!!! Better companies out there, grandpa has Endurance on his Caddy and never has problems with any claims and you know the cost of repairs on a Cadillac at the dealership!!!! I have a Hyundai base model with a NACC Advanced Enhanced policy with Autopom!!! 🤣 Apparently that’s just a fancy way of saying we’re charging you a premium price for an non preforming warranty policy. Wish I could have my $3,000 back!!!!

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the outcome of your claim was frustrating. We understand how disappointing it can be when a repair is not approved, especially when it is your first time needing to use your coverage.
autopom! helps customers select and purchase vehicle service contracts from independent administrators. Claim determinations are made by the contract administrator according to the specific terms of the agreement.
In this case, based on the vehicle's age and mileage at the time of purchase, it qualified for our powertrain coverage level, which is designed to protect major internally lubricated engine and transmission components. During the sales process, examples of the components covered under this level of coverage are reviewed with customers to help them understand how the protection works before enrolling.
According to the administrator, the repair submitted on this claim was not eligible for coverage because the vehicle had exceeded the mileage limits for seals and gaskets coverage under the contract terms.
We always encourage customers to review the contract they receive after purchase, and every policy includes a 30-day review period to confirm that the coverage level meets their expectations.
We appreciate your feedback and take comments like this seriously as we continue working to improve communication and transparency for all customers. If you would like us to review your situation further, please feel free to contact our customer service team at 800-724-8141.

What you are promised and what you pay for are not the same..
Truly, the initial conversation with the representative was amazing.. really made me feel like they were taking care of me.. But became a complete bait & switch. He Repeatedly expressed how their coverage was all inclusive, and it only items specifically noted in the sample contract were not ones not covered… But after paying for the contract, I found out that everything that I needed to be covered for my specific vehicle was absolutely excluded in my contract!!

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’re genuinely sorry for the frustration you felt after reviewing your contract. We’re glad to hear your initial interaction with our representative was positive, but we understand how disappointing it can be to realize—after reading the agreement—that certain items you were hoping to have covered are excluded.
As you noted in your follow-up conversation with our customer service team, this came down to expectations versus the specific terms of the contract selected. Vehicle service contracts, even exclusionary plans, do have standard industry exclusions—such as water intrusion, seals, airbags, and restraint systems—due to their design and risk profile. These exclusions are outlined in the contract documents provided prior to purchase and during the review period. Ultimately, you decided the coverage wasn’t the right fit for your needs, and we fully respect that decision.
While we’re disappointed we couldn’t meet your expectations, we appreciate your honesty and your acknowledgment that you may have moved forward before fully reviewing the contract details. We’re always working to improve how clearly we explain coverage and limitations so customers can make the most informed decision possible.
Thank you again for the feedback, and we wish you the very best moving forward.

Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. I recently needed some repairs on my vehicle. I took it to a shop and provided them with the warranty company info and they put in a claim. The warranty company called me probing me to see if I've been keeping up with maintenence. Then required that I provide them with proof before theyd move forward. I provided that information and sent it to them, then the repair shop did their diagnostic. What was wrong, was covered by the warranty. So I am thinking that I am good, right! WRONG! Here is where it gets sketchy.
The repair shop provided them with an estimate of 2k with parts and labor. The warranty company comes back saying according to our research it should only cost $1k! And thats all we're paying. So the repairs were made ( 2 out of the three issues found) . I get to the repair shop to pick up my car after a week of run around, and they tell me the warranty company only paid them $895 not even the full 1k!?! My out if pocket was $795, when it should have been a $100.
So, basically this warrantly company collects premiums and then pays what they want toward repairs should you actually need work done even if what's wrong is covered. I still have another repair that needs to be made and they didn't even cover the diagnostic charge, which is standard
Take your money elsewhere because I've never had these issues with Endurance!

We’re sorry to hear about the frustration described in this review. Based on the Trustpilot username provided, we were unable to identify this reviewer as a customer in our system; however, we still want to take the opportunity to address the concerns raised for clarity and transparency.
Vehicle service contract claims are administered by the licensed claims administrator listed in the contract - autopom! All claim decisions are made in accordance with the contract terms, verified diagnostics, approved labor times, and prevailing labor rates in the repair facility’s market. It is standard industry practice for administrators to request maintenance records and to validate repair estimates before authorizing payment.
In some cases, a repair facility’s estimate may exceed the administrator’s approved labor time or labor rate. When that occurs, the administrator may approve a lesser amount based on industry labor guides and regional pricing data, and the customer may be responsible for the difference. Diagnostic charges are also commonly excluded unless the contract specifically provides coverage for diagnostics tied to an approved repair.
We understand how disappointing and confusing this process can feel, particularly when expectations don’t align with the final outcome or when comparing experiences across different providers. While we always advocate for fair and timely claim handling, approvals, and payments must remain consistent with the contract and administrator guidelines.
If the reviewer is willing to contact us directly with identifying details, we would be happy to review the claim and provide additional clarity.

Autopom and Omega: A Policy That Failed Me
I want to share my experience with Autopom and their warranty provider, Omega, to help others make informed decisions. Unfortunately, my experience has been highly frustrating and disappointing.
The Situation
After purchasing a policy from Autopom, I encountered numerous issues when trying to get my car repaired. Here’s what happened:
Prolonged Delays: It took over 10 days for Omega's adjuster to inspect my vehicle, which set the entire process back significantly.
Questionable Replacement Parts: A junkyard transmission with 80,000 miles was installed in my car, but it didn’t work. This led to additional delays and further complications.
Denied Repairs: When the repair shop provided a quote to rebuild the transmission—a practical solution—Omega denied the request, prolonging the ordeal. Instead, they insisted on sourcing another high-mileage junkyard transmission, leading to more delays.
The car has been in the shop for almost 6 weeks. This is totally unacceptable.
Insufficient Rental Car Coverage: Omega’s rental allowance of $30 per day barely covers a single day, leaving me without adequate transportation for the weeks my car has been out of service.
Concerns with the Policy
Autopom’s policy promises coverage but has limitations that weren’t clearly explained at the time of purchase. For example, “off-the-shelf” replacements, which appear to be junkyard parts, are prioritized over more reliable repair options. This approach does not provide the level of protection I expected when I purchased the policy.
Lack of Support
Autopom has provided minimal assistance throughout this process. Their updates have been unhelpful, and they have not taken responsibility for the shortcomings of the policy they sold me. This has left me navigating the delays and frustrations with limited guidance or support.
Final Thoughts
While Autopom and Omega may have responses to this review, I urge potential customers to carefully review the terms of any policy and consider whether it meets their needs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Autopom or Omega to others.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly value your feedback and want to ensure transparency while addressing your concerns.
To clarify, autopom! serves as a marketer and broker for leading BBB A+ rated providers and administrators, such as Omega Auto Care. This means that while we don’t directly manage the claim process, we are committed to supporting you and working with all parties involved to help resolve issues as quickly as possible.
Regarding the timeline of your inspection, your claim was called in on 12/17/24, and the inspection was promptly ordered by the shop on 12/20/24, a Friday, and by 12/24/24, the claims adjuster had already reached out to the repair shop to go over the authorization, leaving a detailed message. This was a 7-day process, not 10 days. We understand that any delays can be frustrating, and we regret the impact this may have had on your experience.
Addressing your concern about the replacement part, it’s important to note that the Administrator, Omega, did not supply a transmission. They authorized the shop to order one and provided an allowance for the part. Unfortunately, since the OEM part for your vehicle had been discontinued, the shop had limited options in sourcing a replacement. While this narrowed the choices, the Administrator approved the available option to move your repair forward.
As for the rebuild, the Administrator did not deny the repair. They asked the shop to provide an estimate for the rebuild and explained that the allowance provided was in line with what the repair would typically cost. The Administrator approved $2,818.28 toward your repair, ensuring funds were available for the shop to complete the work.
Ultimately, your vehicle was repaired, and you picked it up on 01/28/25, just over a month after the claim was initiated. While the repair timeline is influenced by many factors outside of autopom!'s control, we worked to ensure you received the best outcome possible. Additionally, because your repair was completed at a RepairPal Certified Repair Center, we’ve arranged to reimburse your $100 deductible.
Lastly, we recognize your frustration with the process and sincerely regret any complications. Your feedback helps us continue to improve and serve our customers better. If there’s anything further we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Don't Expect Much to be Covered
My car broke down 50 miles from home. I was able to get my 25 mi. towing benefit, through a 3rd party subcontractor handling the dispatch, and a 4th actually handling the tow. You would have thought I was the 1st towing job they arranged – I was given the wrong number to arrange it, had to call again (after a message was unreturned), and in both cases went through a frustrating experience with a representative speaking unintelligible broken English on a bad connection, no doubt from an off-shore support contractor. She struggled to find my policy, and had never heard of autopom. That’s when I learned autopom isn’t even the actual policy holder, and it’s underwritten by another company, NCCA (where I was ultimately directed to file my claim).
Anyway, I’d assumed the breakdown was related to an engine replacement I had done last year, because it was exhibiting the same symptoms. I therefore expected the job to be covered under the 3-year warranty for the engine job. That is when I called autopom to go over my towing and rental car coverage, explicitly to confirm that I could avail myself of those benefits regardless of who paid for the job. Had I been given the right information, and known that for some inexplicable reason only the towing was covered, I’d have made very different arrangements for the whole thing rather than spend >$600 on a rental. It was very on brand though, as before the breakdown I had planned to cancel the policy anyway out of frustration with this exact kind of situation – some fine-print exclusion that is almost guaranteed to make the policy not worth the premium. Routine items (unrelated to general maintenance) have been denied, and the same problems that were paid for by my previous warranty, weren’t covered by my autopom policy when they recurred. Part of the lesson here is never to keep a Dodge for more than 70k miles.
Insurance by nature is only profitable when providing as little value as possible to the policy holder, and auto warranties are at the bottom of the barrel - and full of scams and aggressive bait & switch sales techniques. Just fill out a quote request form anywhere online, and you will have to change your phone number & email address. There is a reason the finance managers at the auto dealership have the worst reputations – it’s where they sell the extended warranties, the paint protection, etc. All the stuff you don’t need, solely to make the sale more profitable to make the actual sale seem like a better deal to the customer...but car dealers might be the only entities with a worse record of customer satisfaction than insurance companies.
You’ll notice the carefully curated reviews, all with detailed responses, revealing a concerted effort to maintain a positive overall rating. Another user hit the nail on the head when he mentioned many of them were from customers who had yet to file a claim. I won’t begrudge a company for emphasizing customer service, but in this case, it feels like that is done explicitly to overshadow negative reviews of the service itself to maintain a better online reputation – a crucial competitive advantage (think fake Amazon reviews). The negative TrustPilot reviews published on their website are filtered out.
The only time I had a decent auto warranty was when it was purchased through my credit union/lender, through which it was exclusively available. I don’t know if a truly worthwhile policy even exists
