One week of diving on the Tiburon Explorer in the Galapagos is a unique experience. You find yourself in the middle of a natural experiment in evolution, surrounded by dolphins, sea lions, iguanas, turtles, hammerhead sharks, sea horses, rays, even mola-molas, not to speak of the rich and varied life above the surface. And you can fully focus on enjoying nature because everything else is taken care of: comfortable ship, delicious food, personal service, great diving guides. You need to adjust to jetlag, especially if you come from Europe, so take a few days beforehand to spend on land, where there is also a lot to see; bring the usual stuff to protect yourself against the tropical equatorial sun, and drink lots of water; other than that, enjoy a memorable experience. Finally, I should mention the benefit of the time spent onboard with other divers, all of them interesting people from varied places and backgrounds, all of them sharing a common value.

Fantastic crew and Dive Masters on the Tiburon in the Galapagos!

A lot was promissed but few delivered. The ship is not as New as described. Addvertsing pictures too hold then doesn't reflect the reality. If you pay for quality, then , quality should be the target of the local team . This wasn’t the case I’m not satisfied at all.

What an awesome vacation! My husband and I did a liveaboard on the Caribbean explorer II . What an amazing crew. Awesome scuba diving off saba! Captain Bob was great. Kept us informed and always made the dives happen when winds were high by choosing the safest sites. Polly was terrific at keeping all our paperwork in order and was awesome at pointing out neat fish when she joined us for a dive. Mackenzie was an awesome dive master and professional macro spotter! She pointed out nudibranchs and things the size of a grain of rice! I was in macro heaven. Also, I LOVE octopus and she helped me find my first one of the trip!!!! Sam the other Divemaster and instructor was so patient and awesome. My husband was able to complete his nitrox class on board between dives and get the benefit of using it on his dives. As a new diver the crew helped my husband set his weights and adjust his gear for the warmer water! Julian did not leave me hungry. Great chef with a very comical presentation when explaining what he was serving. I ate better this past week than ever before! John the night watch kept us safe and joined us on a few dives. He kept track of me when I would stop to take photos and got a little separated from the group. Terrance the engineer kept our tanks full, AC running and showers warm. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this crew!

As a Dive Shop Owner that brought 10 passengers to this company I can honestly say these folks are top notch. This was supposed to be leaving out of St Maarten then diving in St Kitts and Saba however St Kitts closed their waters due to covid. The crew took us to Saba from Bobby's Marina in St Maarten and performed with excellence, professionalism and charm. Although we were disappointed with not going to St Kitts we had a great time and left with great memories of good dives, great food and our new friends aboard the Caribbean Explorer 2.

We had a fabulous week on Tiburon Explorer in the Galapagos. Every dive brought something new, whether hammerhead, whale shark, orca, penguin, or mola mola. The crew was very attentive to our needs, providing great service, and always taking care for safety.
