As an expert I love the ability to be able to help but the support I get in return just makes me want to come back again and again. To me it's a win / win. Well - I have been using EE for 3 years now and basically it think its worth every dollar! As long as your problem is within the range of BASIC software, primary Microsoft my experience is that I get 90% of my questions solved! As it is with any technical inquery, it is extremely important that you can describe the problem very precise and accurate. If done so, I get answers VERY quickly. I would say the average is about 20 minutes from your Q is publish till you see the first suggestion. Also I would like to applaus the high level og self justice within EE If someone tries to answer a question by publishing a link to their own tool this links is deleted within hours!

At its heart Experts exchange attempts to be some sort of "new concept" (or did at its launch). It certainly has a very good way of selling itself and making itself look good. My own experience is that it's offering nothing new. It's a forum. It's a forum that you pay for. It's a forum that lacks the highly skilled people with too much time on their hands. Without them it's no good as a forum. Many of the questions were very poorly answered (by free forum standards). You are better off with the service you don't have to pay for such as the various "Stack Exchange" websites.
