I received the device that speaks Chinese and no instructions on how to deal with such device. I'm in USA and I do not speak Chinese. Should I stop Chinese people on the street and ask for translation? Is this US customer service and management these days? This is disrespect to customers, very softly speaking... Fire mid to high management and hire me. I will find a way to provide English lang. booklet and/or link to English instructions. I will also find a way to convince suppliers changing the default lang. on the device. Art.

Dear Art, Most recently released devices should allow language selection as one of the first steps when logging into your phone. In the event that it was skipped over, leaving you with a non-English language interface, we've added a handy little guide on how to set languages for Android phones here: http://www.expansys-usa.com/faq-how-to-set-language-for-android-smartphones-tablets/ We'll be looking to add another guide for Windows devices shortly. In the meantime, here is a youtube video showcasing how to set language on windows phones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2VQQjSU2SY Kind Regards, The Expansys Team

1) Don't bother calling - nobody will answer no matter how long you wait 2) Customer service is only provided via emails, not timely, with a lot of frictions unless you have really easy case that does not cost them anything to solve. 3) I ordered a brand new item, but received a clearly used item. After several days of back and forth emails with customer service they authorized RMA admitting the problem, but still wanted me to pay for the return shipping even though it was problem on their behalf. 4) As of now still waiting for the reply. If I don't hear back from them soon I will raise the issue with VISA.

I ordered my phone and loved it. Shipping was fast and service was initially excellent. I then had an issue where my dog had a medical emergency and needed surgery. Seeing is how my dogs life is more important than my phone. I called Expansys and explained to them my situation. I told them that I loved the phone but I needed to return my phone because I needed the money for my dogs surgery. The representative I spoke with said that they understand and would accept the return no problem without a restocking fee. I asked if she was positive because there was nothing stating it on the company website under the terms and conditions. she reassured me it was not an issue and that I would receive a full refund minus my initial shipping cost. Mind you, I had to pay to ship the phone back. I figure that's fine. Something I needed to do and would pay for. Couple days past and I receive my refund and come to find out its close to $100.00 LESS than the cost of the phone. They said it was a restocking fee of 15% because the phone was opened. I asked about all of this with the customer service representative and she told me I would get a full refund minus the initial shipping cost. That there would be no restocking fee due to my unusual situation. Running a business has nothing to do with my personal matters. I understand and respect that. But do not pretend to offer sympathy and empathy, to tell me one thing and having something different happen after the fact. Its the principal that I am upset with. So I E-mailed Expansys for an explanation...so far no response back. Went on twitter, expressed my concern there. No answer there either. Expansys order:53BK8C5E042C I can also provide you the name of the representative I spoke with Expansys. I do not want to publish her name here for privacy reasons. Jimmy Duong

Hi Jimmy, First and foremost, I am very sorry about your dog! My sister has a dog, and the dog is like another member of the family. Therefore, I know how important your dog is to you, and I hope the dog gets better! Secondly, I am very sorry that you were misinformed about the restocking fee. Since the seal was broken, our returns department naturally issued a restocking fee. However, (and this is the part that I like to do, so my customers are happy), I have requested for a full refund of $589.99 (the price of the phone) to be issued back to your PayPal account! You have already been issued a refund of $501.49, and we will issue the remaining difference. You will receive a credit note via email shortly. I want to thank you for your business, and I hope that we have been able to change your somewhat negative experience into a positive one! -MC-

I've tried Expansys UK and UAE before and the experience was fantastic. Sadly, Expansys US isn't at the same level. The item page said "Arrives in 5-10 days" but it took 3 weeks. When I talked to customer service they were not friendly at all, and they said the item is currently not in stock. (although the item page still said 5-10 days). On top of that they used the slowest shipping I've ever seen. This is definitely the last and only time I shop at Expansys US.

Ordered a phone and paid extra for expiteded shipping. Item still hasn't shipped a couple days later so emailed to ask when it should arrive. I was told that they were only expecting stock a week later, I replied to then cancel my order. The following day I got another email that the item had shipped. I emailed again and was told now, they couldn't cancel it as it had shipped already. Eventually managed to get them to request FedEx return the item to them. I had to speak to 3 different customer service reps who had no record of each preceding conversation and the whole affair was unnecessary and extremely frustrating. Not so much as an apology or even, recognition of their mistakes.

Ordered two "refurbished" Nexus 7 tablets for $79.99 each, with free shipping and a nice, brand new neoprene travel case. Lowest price I could find, and tablets arrived looking like new. So far, so good. Trouble is, neither one of the tablets would take an over-the-air upgrade, and they shipped stock with an older version of Android. Since this was an issue with lots of Nexus tablets (especially the older 2012 version, which is what these are), I suspect that these tablets were simply customer returns that Expansys turned around and sold as-is. Since 99% of customers would not be able to deal with this problem, they would have no choice but to (a) leave the device on an older, insecure version of Android or (b) return it to Expansys. Fortunately there is software available for free that allows you to remedy this situation (by manually re-installing an upgraded version of the Android operating system) and thus salvage an otherwise crippled Nexus tablet. So, I was able to keep the devices, but I spent almost a whole day getting them into useable shape. I noticed this particular version (Nexus 7 2012, 16 GB memory) is no longer available on the Expansys website.

Hi Kevin, I am very sorry to hear you had this problem with your manufacturer refurbished devices. Would you please provide your order reference number and we will see if there is something we can do to offset the difficulty you had with your product.
