My dad is an 73 year old amputee (above knee) suffering from dementia, and struggled with getting in and out of the shower. After I put the chair together and set it up, I showed him how it works. When I came back later in the day, I asked him how he did. He said it worked even better than he imagined. He was impressed with how easy it was to transfer from his wheelchair to this chair in the bathroom, and back again after the shower. He said, "son, I wish I had this chair years ago!"
