Hello Phil, Thanks for contacting us. I understand the frustration with the flat rate shipping cost of $9.95 when it comes to the lightweight spikes. Unfortunately, UPS/Fedex charges us a minimum of $9.95 no matter the weight of the product and/or distance traveled. In the future, if you give us a call before placing the order, we can go over some other shipping options along with costs and transit times. Please be assured that we continue to search for ways to enhance our shipping process making it better for our customers. Hello Katie. Thank you for reaching out to us. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I checked our system and it looks like we did email you on 8/2 and 8/3 regarding the backordered 6lb. shots (estimated ship date of 9/23) and the starting block package (no updates as of today). Unfortunately with material shortage and product demands we have limited control on these particular products. We are hopefully they will come in soon but we are unable to obtain a firm delivery date. If you have any questions or want to change your order, please let me know. Again, my apologies.
